Emjace, 27 Apr 2020Does it have 60hz screen? Does the screen bleed?Yup, normal 60Hz screen, as for bleeding, I don't think so, xiaomi has been taking their screens seriously in their last phones, but still too early to say.

        GREAT JOBS
Thanks so much of GSM Arena team ,🙏

"The Redmi Note 9S supports Dark mode - it will switch all system colors from white to black, and this way, you can save some battery juice on that LCD screen."

No, that would only save the battery on AMOLED/OLED screens. LCD consumes the same amount of energy at same brightness level, whether you have all screen set to white or black.

Redmi Note 9S is still more structurally sound as the fingerprint sensor placement is not at the phone's frame. K30 cut too many corners.

Not a problem to push 1080p screen.
Those old 8xx can even push QHD/4K without problem.

I've looked at the wide angle 1080p video, and despite lack of electronic stabilization (tripod mounted), the video is still jittery with cars skipping along. What's up with these Android makers? I've tried the iPhone SE and it's smooth in any situation, even in 4K60p. A constant video frame rate is the only thing preventing me from getting another Android phone. The Mi 9 is better than the 9T Pro in this regard but still seriously flawed, despite both having top range SoCs. Even Sony's CineAlta Xperia 1/5 is quite useless in its jitter. Until reviewers call it out, no one in the Android world would think to improve this.

                  That amazing battery life.

STALKER1993, 27 Apr 2020I will buy it this week for around 200$ 128/6Buy the redmi k30 instead is better in every way apart from the battery!

Nobody isn't going to mention that this phone doesn't have any heat problem from day one? Or that Mediatek lie about the performance of almost all Helio Lineup?

It is better a 1080p screen and then low the resolution in game.

                          Unpopular opinion:

720p displays offers far more functionality wise (performance etc) Vs 1080p

                          Especially for midrangers

Hi guys @ gsmarena, just wanted to ask what really is the difference between these Indian/Chinese specd or named phones and their global versions, does ordering a 9 pro make any difference to having a 9s outside of India or is it just a naming thing but functionality is the same??

Something has gone very wrong here.

I wait note 9 pro maks globally, it's coupled with 64 mp back and 32 mp front camera, 33 charging, and 6 ram, for about 30€ more.
