On your logic you can say alot of ppl still prefer nokia 3310 phones. smh
The only reason the SE sells is because too many ppl wants the apple brand but could not afford the $700 price tag, hence they buy the SE.

Biased Doesn't mean... morelol, why would the verge be biased towards apple? It's not like apple is paying them unlike huawei and other chinese companies paying DxOmark for good scores.
And no, the verge actually understands that their main audience(probably americans) want an iPhone.
And lets look at the shortcomings. Low ram? who in the other 90% of people who aren't techies actually care? Not edge to edge AMOLED display with high refresh rates? around 80% of the people in this world don't actually care about those things either. Gaming triggers? If your actually want to play serious games, don't do it on a phone. No periscope zoom or super-high-resolution ultrawide camera? 80% of people don't care either.

small battery life, small screen with wasting home button and header (it would be good if no home button and header, change to full screen). it is completly the same as iphone 8 nothing change. Android phones are better compair to the price. Apple, it's time to change don't be stingy.

As for as I am saying that I will buy one plus 7 Pro with almost 8 Gigs Of Ram and also the 256 Gigs of storage and that is almost 500 dollars as compared to the
I phone SE = 3GB RAM and 256 GB STORAGE
One Plus 7 Pro = 8 GB RAM and 256 GB STORAGE
with almost a same price of 500 dollars.
So what will you choose???

This is a 4.7 inch display with huge bezels rather than the slightly more acceptable 5.5" display on the iPhone 8 plus. My guess is that apple had a load of unused chassis left over from iPhone 8's and over manufactured their bionic A13 chips this year. Old Times Cook or one of his lackies said, I know, let's stick this excess stock of bionic chips into the bodies of the leftover iPhone 8's and charge the mugs 500 euros. They'll probably think they're getting a great deal and we're laughing all the way to the bank. Happy days. SMH.

4.7" is such a bad compromise. It's too small to shift ones hand comfortably to use one-handed, like a 5" and not near comfortably like a 4". Software is too small anyway, so might as well have went with a 4"

Biased Doesn't mean they'll give bad reviews to other manufacturers.
But they will cover up for shortcomings of Apple devices.
Heck even their PC Build videos are a laughing stock for the entire tech community.

Anandtech, 100%, but the verge? No.
They gave excellent reviews for samsung phones as well. And oppo phones(find x2 pro got 8.5). And a bunch of other phones.
The verge actually thinks about what a non-tech person would want, and gives reccomendations based off that. GSMA is more based off value/money and features.
