Why does the iPhones have such pathetic battery? Even a 200$ TECNO, Realme or Redmi have 5000-6000mAh what kind of a pathetic joke is this? Does Apple even sell battery cases for these yet? :(

Get iPhone 12 Pro Max if you need an iPhone with the best camera Apple ever put on their machines. If you're looking for a Apple-branded powerhouse that is also relatively cheap and very compact then iPhone 12 Mini, otherwise just go for iPhone 11 Pro as iPhone 12 and 12 Pro don't really offer anything substantially better than it (and you would get worse battery life as well).

For me, it's either the 12 mini or the 12 Pro Max. I am a big sucker for small-sized smartphones, so the 12 mini is definitely the one to eye. But I'm also a big fan of mobile photography and videography, so the 12 Pro Max's brand new main and telephoto camera sensor shouldn't be ignored.

If there is 5G in your area then its 100% worth upgrading now.

Or else 2nd iteration of new design are always better

Go for the pro models, or the mini. This is the year to skip the middle models. There’s too much value for the minimal price difference between the 12 and 12 pro.

2020 is a skip year

10% faster cpu for -30% battery life?? Only wall huggers would accept that.

Only worthy upgrade is from iPhone SE or whatever big phone that u hate to the 12 mini.

Other iPhones offered this year are not worthy even for new users.

Just get the last year's 11 series while stocks last.

Can get good discounts too.

Just skip this year and wait for next year

Every iPhone 12 other than the iPhone 12 Pro Max has terrible battery life. It's the obvious choice for me, but then again, big phones aren't for everybody.

For people who don't actively use their phones however, I can see them getting the iPhone 12 Mini for it's "niche" size and more affordable pricing.

Just my opinion:

If you own an i11 then only the i12 Pro Max makes sense. i12 may be OK because of the OLED panel, but the i12 Pro is a bit overpriced in this respect.

If you own an i11 Pro/Pro Max then just skip the i12 Pro/Pro Max as it's an incremental upgrade.

It looks like only the i12 mini or i12 is worth buying this year. The Pro models are quite tasteless. Besides the iPhones (even older models) have a boatload of issues thanks to poorly made iOS 14. Some iPhone users have been switching back to Samsung or some other Android phones recently because of this.
