Really excellent phone. Display is superb. Battery charging speed is fabulous. Battery backup is also good after some update. Performance is also excellent. I play COD in very high graphic quality, frame rate max mode. It runs smoothly. Only con is that the phone gets warm, sometimes hot. But a little later it cools down for it's vapor cooling system. Phone's sound is also loud. Most importantly it's call reception and noise cancelation is excellent. You can hear clearly in a noisy environment.

I bought realme x7 pro and within 3 months it starting bulge out from middle and realme service center did not bother to help me out. Rather charge me 9300 rs for repair. It was not even broken or damage from anywhere.

I am having issue in work profile mode. The phone is taking multiple touches for a single tap. For example if I wanted to write 0 it would print 00 on screen. Any fix for that? Also I am using guessture navigation, and it is working perfectly fine in personal profile. But isn't working properly on work profile. For example, if I swipe left to leave from gmail app in work account, instead of going back, it is archiving the mail that was parallel to my swipe.
Secondly multiple account in the same amazon app (means no cloning, but adding multiple accounts to single one app) is causing logging out from other accounts, so while switching accounts, you need to provide passwd again.
Then there's this issue: Though it never happened that I haven't used my phone for 3 consecutive days, but it will frequently prompt me that I must enter password (and not fingerprint) to unlock as I haven't used the phone for more than 72 hours.
Dark mode is set to turn on between sunset to sunrise. But sometimes it doesn't turn on and sometimes it doesn't turn off.
I am using vpn. But there's no option to hide the system icon for vpn from always on display. I can hide it from lock screen and normal notification banner but not from AOD.

While the Redmi's haptic feedback is not flagship-level, it is still much better than the Realme. Xiaomi also keep improving the haptics in Poco X3 and the latest Note 10 Pro, while the Realme 7 has the same bad haptics as the 6. Let see if the Realme 8 will improve or stay the same.

"The card slot is on the bottom as well, and it takes two nano SIMs but no microSD - a bit of a bummer, considering some markets only get the 128GB storage version."
Yes. Not a bit of bummer, it's a huge bummer, so huge that becomes a deal breaker. I lose interest when I read that. For me, SD card is a must. No SD card, no interest, no buy.

I bought this for my mother yesterday. While I was setting up the phone and using for around 6-7 hours, the phone is very good. Can say a Premium Mid Ranger.
Few takes:
1. 65W Charger is monster!
2. Screen is amazing and is very fluid at 120Hz touch.
3. Back primary Camera is VERY GOOD. I believe updates might refine its photography worth.
4. Selfie camera is GOOD.
5. No heating issues found.
6. Speakers with Dolby Atmos are very good - clear sound and loudness. Didn't tested on TWS/Earphones.
7. Processor seems very fast and I didn't noticed heating issues. I used OnePlus Nord earlier and its better than Nord for sure. Great work MediaTek!
8. Only downside I found is that its not Android 11 out of the box! It still is Android 10. Hopefully Realme will update this to Android 11 in near future.
Overall mom is very happy as she says "its good! big screen, good camera, fast charging and better battery back up".
