Its all features & design are exactly same as Xiomi's POCO F3 except upgrading in Camera (108 MP instead of 48MP) & SD (888 instead of 870).. How Gsmarena has ignored it??

Nice photos but the shutter speed with the hm2 sensor is so slow. Would make it difficult to get clear photos with any movement at all in all but the brightest of conditions

AnonD-1000793, 24 May 2021Redmi yes. Poco is no longer under Xiaomi brand. Is an in... moreMany poco series is still rebranding of the chinese released redmi

At this price at least 3x telephoto was needed

ridiculous amount of models. Far too confusing for the average consumer.

My brother changed its XZs for 1II, and I know what I am saying. About this MIUI as long as I work by video call on Mess and Whatsapp with Xiaomi users, they have such bad quality you can't tell this ultra expensive crap (11x) it's ok with this system having this price. Xperia is now reduced to double to this 11x. So still no go for this! (Admins please don't be trolls and let these lies be!)

AnonD-1000793, 24 May 2021Redmi yes. Poco is no longer under Xiaomi brand. Is an in... moreNo it isn't. Poco still takes orders from Xiaomi and must heed to whatever the mother company decides.

Poco being "independent" from Xiaomi is like Skoda being "independent" from the Volkswagen Group: they still take orders from the parent company and use the exact same architecture and components, but they are given "independence" in terms of design, picking of certain specifications, and marketing and advertising.

It's the same thing in a new package.
Lot of places where Mi doesn't sell, they launch their phones under the Poco label

Falak, 23 May 2021It's the same companyRedmi yes.
Poco is no longer under Xiaomi brand. Is an independent company that separated from Xiaomi. At least this is what they officially declared. Poco UI still resembles MiUi because they didn't had time to release something of their own probably. But in time, if they have enough profits, I am thinking they will do their own UI.
I wish Redmi will separate too and all 3 will do different kind of UI's. Is better for the end customer.

Just look on internet "Poco independent" and read for yourself. I don't know if it will be permanent or something, but for now things are like this.

With MUI being an unstable disaster even after so many years i would never buy anything other than their cheapest models to use as a backup phone,

                        Sad time for smartphones.

They should just use B&W and raw for 108mp mode, with all that random artwork, its less of a real photography, you might even discover some alien, its not how it looks in reality.
12mp is as good as any 12mp camera, at least nothing worse, good to see its performance.

Of course, I am not saying that this is the prefect phone, also you got the Poco F3 at half the price (with very similar specs).
I find Poco and Redmi phones much more appealing than Xiaomi phones. I think Xiaomi wants to shift in another direction. Make more premium phones in the future (maybe only above 400EUR) and leave Redmi and Poco for the budget segment.

It will be funny to see (if Redmi and Poco will become more independent), how many people will still buy Xiaomi phones or just buy Redmi and Poco rebranded phones instead (because they will be cheaper).

Bloody hell, this thing has more variants than Covid...

Starting at 650 euros doesnt really fit the killer category, even if it ticks many flagship specs.
