You just have to check the full specs page for that. The specs posted on the first page of our reviews are just an overview and clearly an abridged version.

Shiny Dave, 30 Sep 2021I'd have loved to see more direct benchmark comparison... moreI've chosen A52s based on the longer support - get 3 o/s upgrades from Android 11.

Tu2, 01 Oct 2021Think again! SD 888 is throttled from unleashing it's ... morewhile its true about sd 888, sd 778 is efficient by nature, it has under 500mhz in gpu frequency and just 2.4ghz in cpu. so all these perfomance came from architechture superiority (cortex A78 and flagship level adreno 642).
if someone overclock sd 778 to sd 855 or 865 frequencies i wont be suprised if it surpass them.
so you can use this soc at full speed without throttling for long time.

Tu2, 01 Oct 2021Yes, I agree with you. But in the phone's spec sheet t... moreFair enough point. Personally I'd still check it on manufacturers websites to make sure thoug as they almost always list the bands on their own websites and sometimes third party review sites have mistakes in the specs

Kev, 01 Oct 2021I'm just happy that the chip is finally a TSMC chip. S... moreThink again! SD 888 is throttled from unleashing it's full power to avoid overheating! SD and Mediatek processors have instruction sets to cheat benchmark apps. Samsung was caught cheating benchmark apps. Many Chinese smartphone manufacturers either don't support desktop version of benchmarking apps or they shun the apps altogether. SO, THINK BEFORE YOU LEAP!!

Aierlan, 01 Oct 2021I think this can be tricky as 5g and 4g bands offered by di... moreYes, I agree with you. But in the phone's spec sheet the 4G bands are specified then why not 5G?! A52s 5G supports 11 5G bands, I believe all the regions will have a few bands in common. Take the matter of NFC for example- NFC is supported in Europe by almost all the brands but in India it is not offered (may be a couple of brands offer). But we get to read about it in the spec sheet. Likewise, supported 5G bands SHOULD be specified so that the reader can make an informed decision.
The goal of the reviews is to help the reader know what the phone is delivering. If the reader wants to be future ready the reviews should help him/her out. Samsung is offering 3 years' security support, so, it can be said that a middle class buyer would use it for atleast 3 years. By then, 5G will be in use in many countries, and if his/her phone doesn't support the bands rolled out in his country then his purchase would be wasted. For example,if India tomorrow decides to use only band 11 and mmWave bands then apart from A52s 5G, M52 5G and iPhone all other 5G phones in the market will become useless. Already the Indian telcos are asking for the inclusion of 4G bands in 5G bands for better interoperability.

Wongndeso, 01 Oct 2021It's different from one or another region. In Indones... moreBecause the video tests are done at 60hz while the browsing tests are done at 120hz. Since Samsung locks 120hz throughout all apps all the time, your battery life doesn't look as good as gsmarena ratings.

If you want... moreYes, I agree with you bro.
Knowing what we want(the features) from the smartphone and budget (money) availability are the main factor to buy a new phone.

xro, 30 Sep 2021the phone dosent come with 25W charger..., only 15W lolIt's different from one or another region.
In Indonesia, there's only 1 model, 8/256 memory but it packed with 15W charger instead of 25w.
But I got no problem with it. I can still buy 25w charger separately. I prefer 8/256 memory than 25W charger.
About Bluetooth, I don't care if it 5.0 or 5.2. Since I rarely use it.
OIS camera, IP 67, wifi 6, 3.5 mm jack, stereo speaker, are features that I looking for.
My only complaint about this phone is the battery life isn't as impressive as battery life score from gsmarena.
I got 6-7 hours screen on time, 24-30 hrs standby for moderate use. Never played a game, just YouTube, browsing and WA.

Also can you do an article detailing how different phones with different resolution and different sensor depth sensor affects portrait
Like take Samsung mid range cause they have higher resolution depth sensor against Xiaomi which have usual 2MP depth sensor and Realme which has B&W depth sensor
Compare these types of depth sensor for daylight, low light, bokeh balls, edge seperation and overall quality it would be a really nice article

Gsmarena can you kindly add low light portraits to camera review as well cause I think thats the time most people take portrait shots and it would be nice to see how different phones render bokeh balls and how much quality and edge seperation suffer in low light

Tu2, 01 Oct 2021I don't understand why people are so pleased with a 45... moreI think this can be tricky as 5g and 4g bands offered by different phones often differ in different regions. The Chinese Models and European models for example will often support different bands. Other countries or regions may be different again. It would be difficult to state the different bands for all the different variants. I think if a consumer cares about bands and they are considering buying a phone they should go to the manufacturers website of the country they are going to buy it in and check it.

The Poco F3 only has IP53 protection, no OIS on the main camera, and doesn't even have a headphone jack and microSD card support. People don't buy smartphones just because of the chipset, not everyone is a mobile gamer.
