I wanted to buy a Realme GT neo 2. Because I wanted to play with the phone and use it for everyday tasks. Then I noticed the comments, I have two options right now, I do not know whether to buy Poco F3 or Realme GT neo 2? I want a phone that does not get hot and is the best in the game and is good in terms of camera, please comment, thank you

a lot of people write that neo 2 has DDR4, but it's not really true that LPDDR5

DoctorPhoneface, 21 Nov 2021One thing about this GT Neo 2 that may make your recommenda... moreGt neo 2 using imx 682 which doesn't support 4k60 just like the imx 582 in poco f3.. Which means realme is just doing some interpolation to get 4k60, something that the poco can also do using Gcam. Also the black shark which uses the sd870 and also imx582 can do native camera app 4k60, so fingers crossed for xaiomi releasing 4k60 to the f3 in future updates (as it also did with the poco f1)

One thing about this GT Neo 2 that may make your recommendations for alternatives moot is the fact that it has 4k60 video recording. None of the other phones on your list, including the Poco F3 that has quite the following — deservedly so — has this.

For someone like me, that's a dealbreaker. I'm simply not buying a phone with just 4k30. I can live without HDR right now, because the only handsets offering it are extremely expensive, and often also do a crappy job at capturing video (looking at you, Samsung, for a decade and counting, with your stuttery video recording).

The 4k video recording in this phone is exceptionally good AFAICT from samples and reviews online. I think I'll give it another four years for HDR video capture in phones to improve, and then get whatever similar handset to this exists at that time, sporting 4k60 HDR recording. For the time being, I've put in an order on Amazon.de for their Black Friday special on this phone w. 12/256 GB, and if I'm still content tomorrow, I'll let it pay and look forward for this phone to replace my dying Galaxy S6.

If I change my mind, I don't know what to do. Probably buy a €20 feature phone and wait a year or two, see what happens :)

Sameer, 10 Nov 2021Realme GT neo 2 is getting to heat Don't buy this phoneSustained performance seems pretty good. Minimal throttling.

GSMArena really needs to put in Haptics as a measurable yardstick as well. The reviews feel empty without a section commenting on the Haptic capabilities of a phone.
I'd rate Haptics, right on top along with Screen Quality for a really immersive usage experience.

Apple and Pixel phones are right at the top of the food chain but this phone, is really something with really accurate and varied feedback sensations.
