    I'm actually weighing up the GT Neo2 vs the Meizu 18X. Any thoughts? Prefer the design of the Meizu but the specs on paper are slightly better here. I'm a fan of Flyme.

        Horrible picture quality, damn. My OnePlus 6, which is now a 4 yo device, makes better pictures in all light conditions.

        Almost pulled a trigger on it, but, nah, will wait for something better in this price range.

Don't know why but I never trust this realme brand. I prefer trusting xiaomi including redmi and poco for it's better design, built, os and highest price to performance.

              Jimmy Potter, 21 Oct 2021Realme X7 Max (GT Neo) is a much better deal - thinner phon... moreTrue, that's why I bought it (12/256 version) 2 months back, it's more comfortable (shorter, narrower, lighter), has similar performance and cameras (I use GCam for some scenarios), a 3.5mm HP jack, no heating, and good battery life for more than 20% less money
              What I don't like is the unusually high idle drain (1-2% every hour), stupid glossy stripe on the back (that plastic matte finish is rather good btw), no OIS, no microSD, no usable secondary cam, glossy plastic frame (matte plastic like 7 Pro or even metal would be nice), as mentioned very bad hrr management, and ofc I have this complaint with every realme device-the screen section seems like it's plastered on top of the frame, it doesn't sit inside it.

                Why aren't realme not launching the explorer edition everywhere? It may well be their most rounded phone.

                    Edit: I also have to wonder why does the F3 (or its indian variant, the Mi11x) hardly gets mentioned anywhere in this review? Only the GT one does, which value-wise isn't better than the vanilla.

                      Poco F3 is about $300 now, with extra IP rating and IR blaster. So why you must pay $100 more?

                        Why most smartphones these days have less color accurate screens. It sucks. I'm a creative professional and I need a colour accurate smartphone.. It is the single most important factor which influence my decision when getting a new phone.

                          The camera sensor in the mobiles sold in India have Samsung GW1 days flipkart where the mobiles are sold.

                            Expensive..

                              Realme X7 Max (GT Neo) is a much better deal - thinner phone, only about 10% less performance in Dimensity 1200, same cameras... But at 20% cheaper price!

                                  "Games capped at 60fps"
                                  For gamers it's very serious problem
                                  Gsmarena 4.2 point is high for this device
                                  Realme is very stupid company or they are hiding a problem in Realme UI

                                    Nice screen translate is there, big battery, flat screen, sd870 dead cheap compared to the likes of pixel 6 with a Mali GPU 😣

And since we've reviewed the F3 GT, we have more data on it.

                                        Hey gsmarena, you forget to include Mi 11x as that's the direct competition. Others are not. So looks like a promoted and unfair competition.
                                        Hope you would revise the review and include Mi11x in comparison.
