That CPU Throttling test was kinda bull.
I remember the ROG Phone 5s. That phone peaks at 265,000 with its own SD888+. Vivo should reach that too....but it doesn't. What it does, however, is prove to us that the performance that the Vivo X70 Pro+ can sustain is more like 60%, rather than 75%.

I just ordered the X70 Pro+ and will send it to Europe. But i just got a messsage it will come with Origin OS because it's the chinese version.
Anyone knows if it is possible to order the Funtouch OS (global) version to Europe?

If any of the X70PRO+ users are yet to update to the android 12 beta, make sure you take a backup of your data. I faced a weird issue after the stupid update.
The phone wasn't even able to handle an android upgrade.
1hour after update, display stopped working. It randomly went blank in the middle of usage
Then I had to force restart. Upon first authentication, within 15seconds display again would go blank and not work.
Then I had to backup my data via laptop and I had to do a factory reset for it to work properly.
Do not update until a stable version is released.

I was among the first to buy x70 pro+. Although camera worked awesomely, night mode resulted in distorted images. The images are distorted from the top edges. It seems like lens distortion and difference is quite visible in images taken with and without night mode. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with the quality in night mode from the phone this expensive.

Nowadays phone manufacturers see that Camera is more important than processing power, cuz processing power is already too great, that heat is exceeding the need.

Thank for including the data rate per second for the videos. That low for 8k in h264, is not great. That's more the datarate 4k should be at. You really need h266 at that rate, or more. It just takes a lot of data to make robust quality images. 144mb/s at h266 is a minimum, or double that for higher quality. But, doing it in h266 requires a big circuit compared to using a photo like intra format, but that takes heaps more datarate, but is the lowest circuitry solution.
They really have to start looking at high speed external storage recording, and use a bigger intra format like ProRes or CDNG in a virtual container for speed, with meta data with per frame levels and lut, using the latest photo format.

High resolution screen, high refresh rate, curved display etc justifies tje premium price. Camera is extra ordinary. It can do magics. Lot of modes and filters what not.. But the front camera supports only 1080p as of now(mentioned 4k).
The battery life is a concern, when you set the resolution to quad HD and 120 hz refresh rate. It drains out very quickly and tends to heat up.
Lot of customization in the UI like transition effects,charging and unlocking animations are available. But simply you cannot change the pre installed theme because all the themes are paid. And also only 2 font styles are available for free.
