Regarding no charger in package , there's actually an easy remedy for that if companies actually cared for nature and consumers and ready for small cost.

Provide a coupon worth, what charger is worth , this way consumers , who don't have charger or don't have compatible charger can redeem this coupon for charger when buying in the stire , those who do have charger , can exchange for appstore, playstore, samsung store credits. but this adds costs. doesn't reduce it and saving money at your expense is what Apple was for it and what those who followed, were for it as well.

    Overpriced = Misfired

[deleted post]Sounds like we have a few guys upset that not all are buying into the fake news spammed by Google.
I always thought Apple was the lowest you could get in tech, turns out Google doesn't give a single f k. Undermine "its own" ecosystem for small personal profits.

Anonymous, 17 Jan 2022No dynamic display RateThat's still not enough to practically negate that extra 500mAh. Adaptive/variable RR battery savings are marginal, at best.

Nobody wants this, so many better options with more features and lesser price!

The only good FE was th first one (Note 7 replacement) and after that it became a gimmick, especially this one.
FE was supposed to have SD chips worlwide and they didn't even do that now.

Thanks, you just inadvertently confirmed the FE's poor battery standby with your self-righteous rant.

I keep reading about poor battery life in the Samsung FE phones. I have the S20 FE 5GUW version in the US with Verizon as the carrier. I get almost a full 48 hours out of the phone before I have to put it back on the charger. You know how? Because I don't use it every hour of every day. I have a life beyond my phone. I occasionally check my email and texts, make a few phone calls when necessary, but otherwise my head isn't pointed down at my phone every minute I'm awake.

I was on vacation in Sydney, NSW walking down Pitt Street and two girls were walking side by side with their heads down looking at their phones while they were walking right at me. I stopped and they both walked into me. One of them said "Sorry" and I asked them to be careful and who were they texting that was so important. They told me they were texting each other. YOUR PHONE IS NOT THAT IMPORTANT.

Anonymous, 17 Jan 2022You should look on that store and see that's not the c... moreIt depends on where the order comes from. Many of their smartphones are coming from China if they don't have them in stock in their European warehouse (it seems that most of the smartphones are shipped from China) . If outside the EU then VAT is due whether or not you pay it (i.e. you may get away without paying it even though legally it is due). Anyway, it appears that they have a shipping method which helps you dodge the VAT. With DHL though you may have to pay it.

One thing to consider is that the 21FE comes with android 12 out of the box. The S21 comes with android 11 and the OTA upgrade to android 12 is one of the 3 upgrades promised. How many upgrades does the 21FE get? How long is the security patch support?

It would be useful to include these details when comparing phones.

Kriegsherr, 17 Jan 2022the truth is S20FE didn't actually have a good battery... moreThat's because you had the exynos version. The snapdragon version of the S20 FE 5G is built on TSMC fab and gets very good life. With my optimizations, heavy screen on usage days gets me between 10.5 and 11.5 hours of screen on time with 15% left. No lie. You're not gonna get that with the exynos. This time around with 888 and 2100, they have similarly poor battery life.

fan editing basically is a way for samsung to sell leftovers parts each end of the year, its ok if the prices is right , but with this price it is bad deal

the truth is S20FE didn't actually have a good battery life. I bought an exynos version with a very good deal. but sold it after 4 months although I have to pay for 2 years. the reason was mediocre display, device heating and bad battery life. the battery life I used to get was nowhere near the review time posted by gsmarena. I think this time it might be rather realistic with S21FE.

                              S20 FE 5g Endurance Test (120Hz) - 110 hours (60Hz) - 118 hours! S21 FE 88h - 92h

You see how inefficient SD 888 is. Stick with S20 FE 5g, it was 480 euros during black friday, will be that cheap again soon.

Aierlan, 17 Jan 2022In most EU countries you have to pay around 20% VAT on top ... moreYou should look on that store and see that's not the case. You'll also see the comments, some of them made few days ago from European countries.

I stick with my s20fe sd865 8/256gb i buy in Black Friday here in Brazil 11/2021 for BRL 1700 equal of U$ 315

'You can barely see anything of Android as One UI completely overhauls its interface.'

And that's the software cancer right there.

There would be no reason to get this. What Fan Edition? I am a user, not a fan. It is too expensive for what it offers. Why? Just because of the Samsung brand? Any similar spec phone from the competition is better and cheaper.

"We carried our video test again at 120Hz, and it dropped by 2 and a half hours. This brought the final endurance rating down to 88 hours."

Just when I thought the displayed 92 hours of battery endurance rating was already bad enough, static 120Hz mode decimate it even further. Either way, that's way off from the S20 FE. Looks like the S20 FE won't be dying anytime soon.
