A high quality LCD panel can look almost as good as an OLED panel. It's also good for long-term users as it is not susceptible to burn-in issues which are prevalent on OLEDs.

    The one plus 1
    Mi 6
    Poco F1
    Poco X3 pro

    And this Moto g 200

All legendary bang for your buck smartphone and if not legendary they are good deals

They all have LCD panels in common

Once any of these smartphones go OLED then the processor gets worse (as we see in the redmi note line)

Or the price gets too much

Not entirely their fault, chips get to fast for their own good.

While the G100 makes much more sense on many regards compared to the G200.

Interesting to see it has good battery life with a IPS (some claimed that would make it worse) and that the throttling of our dear heater, the 888+ is less bad than I have imagined (I wonder if the cooling is good or the plastic back plays a role too)

But while I do sound positive, G100 is around much cheaper in my country (cheapest 870 phone even) and has the 3,5mm jack and microsd slot.

        G100 still makes more sense.

Some of the more recent snapdragon 8 gen 1 phones are even failing to complete certain benchmarks due to overheating. Nearly all snapdragon 888 and snapdragon 8 gen 1 phones run hot. It's all relative

"The phone doesn't become hot even when running stress tests"

*shows a screenshot which shows the temperature got up to 46 degrees c*

1y of Android upgrade at this price point is meh. Phone's good though.

"The Motorola Moto G200 records 8K videos at 24fps, 4K videos at 30fps, and 1080p videos with up to 60fps with its main camera" I have this smartphone and it can record 4K at 60fps, with stabilization. (There's no stabilization at 8K)

Not even HMD still has same update pace they used to.

They make excellent phones but dear god, they need to step up their software game or they'll drown. With Samsung going up to 5 major updates, Motorola needs to step up and provide minimum two for their G phones and three for their Edge.
                      E series at least one.

Lenovo/Moto is making G series great again. G100/G200 are both awesome bang-for-the-buck phones. Like the original OnePlus series. Moto needs to keep this up!

3.5mm jack is always useful and inexpensive. Wired headsets are cheaper and don't rely on miserable batteries. MicroSD memory even more important. If your phone breaks you can pull your card with all your precious data before contacting repair service. Also you can choose the memory size needed and upgrade it if needed. Cloud services are a whole different thing than fast local memories. This is a stupid trend to leave out simple and useful features like also Irda and Fm-radio

                            Very nice review, thanks!
I'll stick to my G100 for another year or so, no need to change anything at this point.
But very well done phone indeed.
Didn't expect this good battery endurance, even better than my G100.
And camera setup is good too.
                            Well done Moto!

Motorola has a very annoying strategy.

You never know if next generation is going to be better than current. This back and forth of reving stuff to return next year to remove again needs to stop.

                              From 64MP 1/1.76" to 108MP 1/1.33" , then 1/1.54".
Remove stereo, bring back stereo, remove again.
Add IP rating, take away, put it back again.
Glass back today, plastic tomorrow, glass again tjen plastic
