I haven't tested it, but from what I've read, for the 45w charging to have an advantage, you need to activate the developers option and enable superfast charging.

I have been using Note 10+. The body, display, battery and the camera are the only difference which I could feel. Definitely the best phone in today's world.

Best Buy made a sales call (almost regret giving them my phone number at some point) and tried to sell me on one of these. Currently using the S10+ (refused updates for 2 years in case I want to flash another rom) but what Best Buy was offering is even better than what my provider gave me with the already old version S10. I went for the 1TB model and hope it's decent. I'm a little annoyed that there's no SD card slot in the thing (hate not having the security of removal in case phone craters) and it's something I'd really prefer for my business as what I do requires several pictures of contract installations, something I don't want in nefarious hands if it needs to go in for repairs. I cannot use whatever cloud services to store photos, for client security reasons, so local storage is the only option.
Anyone gone through a similar switch? Any noticeable good/annoying differences?

It's sad to see that you don't comment on the mountain of Exynos users that report laggy software and UI, apps crashing etc.

I'm switching to S22 Ultra from Google Pixel 6 Pro and want to use Google's 30W adapter to charge S22 Ultra. Is it safe to use this brick and will it cause serious battery issues down the road?

4.5/5.0 is pretty good but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 scored even higher with 4.7/5.0 so it means the phones got less good because scores are lower.

I have it, I write this on it, battery life is awful. S PEN I do not use some times ones in month. Camera is great, screen is great. Mixed filings about S22 ultra. But battery is really annoying!

Anonymous, 17 Jul 2022Compared to the iPhone 13 pro max this phone is better in e... moreYou have a point, even though iOS works smooth and fine, it just doesn't have any benefits using it on a large screen. Feature wise the S22 Ultra easily outmatches the 13 Pro Max, but with even 4 OS upgrades, the iPhone still gets more upgrades. Personally I use split screen and the pop ups often because it's very handy to have, so therefore an iPhone can't be my daily driver, but I have to admit that even on my ancient iPhone SE first gen the iOS 15.5 update works well, so that's a plus for iOS. Nevertheless, for that amount of money one spends on a phone, the S22 Ultra really is the much better option if you are not already in the iOS eco system.

Compared to the iPhone 13 pro max this phone is better in every aspect for example the benefits of a large screen the iPhone 13 pro max can’t do anything with it except for being a large screen phone but the S22 Ultra can do all kind of different things like split screen and pop ups and it can launch 2 pre set apps with a single click it’s easy also the s-pen feature to use the pen as a remote for taking pics I mean I never thought I would use it but I find myself using it quite a lot it’s simply genius so for large screen lover the S22 ultra is the best option.
