Totally disappointed with the camera quality of my new Xiaomi 12X.
Looking at the results of the camera test on GSMArena this phone is basically equivalent to my Samsung S20 FE but in reality they are not even close.
Xiaomi pictures are missing details and quite blurry and the phone struggle to get the proper white balance.
I'm not sure what phone did you test but it's not the average Xiaomi 12X on the shelf.

I got this phone a few days ago and here are my thoughts :
I have an a52s and i bought this to see if its good, then i'll sell my a52s and live with this.
I had a poco x3nfc in the past and im familiar with miui. I hated it. Its just felt half baked. There were bugs and bloatware and the software support was awful.
Then i thought, miui 14 should fix everything. It wouldn't feel "incomplete". Finally a xiaomi phone with good software. But, its not. It still lacks certain obviously useful options. It just doesn't feel like one ui and the feeling it brings that everything works smoothly.
It won't be an issue for most people, but remember, xiaomi phones might be cheaper and much more feature packed than Samsung's, but their software will always be the letdown.
Im never getting a xiaomi phone again.

I wonder when you say good battery could you please give some details. I have xiaomi 12x 8/128 and I get around 4 hours screen on time with 120hz 5G bluetooth and data on.

Bought 12x two weeks ago (EU version, 256 gb) for reasonable 490 eur.
Up to now - nothing bad.
Good display, very comfortable size, quite strong battery (comparing to my previous Samsung Note20 - really strong)
Proximity sensor working as it should in all applications
Only complain - not loud enough with car bluetooth

And remove that tacky Harman wirtting on top and EU symbols at the back.
And yes. Less slippery back.
But those are small things.
Indeed a great phone.
Happy after 12 years of being an apple sheep I switched. I won't pay 80% of the phone cost to replace the screen. Period. This phone does everything my 13 did and looks more futuristic and lasts longer. Camera is worse though. But I'm not an insta chick

Having said that it works eons better than the one on the 10T and 11T (which was an improvement over the 10T itself). I hace had just one instance of it acting up. Having said that, I still think it sucks that they are using that crap instead of a real proximity sensor

Got the 8/256 version for about €500. I'm extremely satisfied with this phone. The size is perfect, the screen is amazing, the cameras are great and the performance is blazing fast. I can't think of anything that I would change on this phone
