Oneplus is on the downhill....

Anonymous, 06 May 2022OEMs should realise this: instead of 3 or 4 bad or even med... moreYeah, just look at the Pixel 4a and 5a. A single camera with the ancient (and presumably cheap) IMX363, yet it takes better shots than phones with multiple cameras.

The flat edges of this phone look nice, but flat phones are never as comfortable to hold. Our hands are curved, so phones should be too.

This model seems like a train wreck. Poor speakers, a poor camera and a UI that's a mish-mash of ColorOS and OxygenOS. You know something's wrong when review sites recommend the previous model instead of the new one.

The plastic back is one of the best things about this phone

DirkPV, 06 May 2022And tomorrow this phone is introduced as the new Vivo Max P... more Vivo and Oppo operate independently. So far there hasn't been any rebranding between Vivo and Oppo phones. The rebranding would happen within the Oppo group among the 3 Oppo brands

oh gosh, why couldn't they have bisected the rear end, the camera island doesn't meet the center line, my ocd, argh!!!
that aside, the GT Neo3 is better buy imo, maybe even the K50, but that hasn't landed in india yet

Did you literally talk about how average the display is, how bad the HDR performance is and how bad the phone deals with the refresh rate is .. But its a great screen. Did you read what you actually wrote? Doesn't matter if its software or not its not great, its dissapointing and bad, stop with this fake "give everything positive reviews no matter what", you did it with the pixel 6 pro and it's beyond a joke now.

              Design wise is awful.
              Camera wise is bad
But... giving the "Nuclear codes" to us to use it when needed is a great idea.

Except the OnePlus logo and red cable, I don't feel like I'm looking at a OnePlus, even the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2T looks more like a OnePlus than this thing.
Why is the punch hole in the middle, why the OnePlus logo not centered, why the volume buttons are split, where's the alert slider?
This is a disguised Realme GT Neo 3...

DirkPV, 06 May 2022And tomorrow this phone is introduced as the new Vivo Max P... moreWhy Vivo? You could have said OPPO, but it's a rebranded Realme GT Neo 3.

Having a subtly curved glass even though the overall aesthetic is all about flat sides is very irking. Like, if you are gonna copy the flat frame from iphones, copy the completely flat glass too. And the less is said about the os, the better. Also, was it not enough for them to remove the slider from their “cheaper” phone that they had to remove it from their main lineup too. Oneplus truly is dead.

Oppo reno 7 pro 5G copy just rearranged lenses...

And tomorrow this phone is introduced as the new Vivo Max Pro 4. How are these brands going to create long term relationships with their customers? Or is it the way we consume today; buy and throw away when finished?

OEMs should realise this: instead of 3 or 4 bad or even mediocre cameras, we would gladly use a proper, good to very good single-snapper. How hard is that?

Put one GOOD camera on the back and we're good.

Reserve the ultrawide and tele cameras for higher end phones and periscope for the flagships and that's it.

Can't Android OEMs realize that design is bad! One fall and those the sharp edges get so badly dented.

                                  The camera is awful.
