My uncle's Reno 8 was not even 1 year old when it started to develop wifi connection issue and eventually deteriorated to phone turning off by itself. He mainly used the phone for long sessions of Zoom.

Video from the selfie camera is absolutely terrible. The texture trembles and it's noisier than even the old Oppo K3. Really disappointed by Oppo. Vivo is more reliable. Have had the V11 Pro, V15 Pro and now X80. Each better than the other.

The oppo Reno series destroyed itself with the oppo reno 4 to 6 carrying the same processor and display and then also destroyed itaelf

I'm getting this phone for 16500 INR in India after exchanging my poco X3 and bank offer. OnePlus nord 2t is costing 21000 after all discount and exchange. It's MRP is high but with offers its final price seems reasonable considering the camera performance.

Oppo phones are trash because they are overpriced.
At this point it's just better to get a Xiaomi or a Samsung.

I kinda loved the (relative) compact-ness (thanks to much thinner chin) & design of the Reno6 5G, but we seem to have gone backwards again (except for the Reno7 5G which somehow brought back the 3.5mm HPJ & microSD slot)

Except for its more powerful SoC, better main camera lens and faster charging, I don't see any unique selling points that are enough to convince me to go for it rather than the cheaper Samsung A73 5G.

The bottom thick bezel is a deal breaker. I don't mind plastic body good at adsorbing shocks from drops especially when you drop your phone alot, but that thick bottom bezel sh#t
