OnePlus 10T hands-on review

The UPSCALIBG performed by the 10T is really evident when you compare it to the same photos taken by the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. My wife and I recently upgraded our phones, I got the 10T and I encouraged her to get the S22 Ultra. On a recent vacation I had her take photos of the same places so that I could compare their cameras and lenses. Unzoomed the photos looked similar, judging by their own display screens. However when Zooming in to far off objects the 10T was Clearly inferior to the S22 Ultra. I would consistently get blurred images or slightly in focus with artifacts while she achieved SHARP, unblurred photos even when zoomed to extremes beyond our initial matching photos. I now understand WHY. Her S22 Ultra has a REAL 100 Megapixel camera and probably) a much more Superior Glass lens and in my 10T I do not have the 50 Megapixel Camera it claims I have. Instead my photos look like I took photos with a 12 Megapixel camera using a PLASTIC LENS!

raminpro, 07 Aug 2022snapdragon enough ,we want use dimensityyyyThe new snapdragon 8 gen 1+ is much improved though and similar in heat generation and battery consumption when compared to the Dimensity 9000 series. Oneplus also has the Oneplus ace which is similar to the 10t camera wise but comes with the Dimensity 8100-max so this is an option for those that prefer dimensity chips

Custom rom not always better. Remember some of phone components driver are closed source.

I read that the charger going from 150w to 125w makes a huuuge difference. It goes from charging in an incredible 19 minutes from 0 to 100. When you use the lesser "american" 110v socket your phone charges to full in an uncalled for extended length of time. It takes 20... I repeat TWENTY! minutes to fully charge

Unlock the bootloader and flash a new rom
A bunch of gymnasts in a room having dinner but the food gets higher until the only way to reach it is to do a swing off the high bar. Yet for some reason, nobody thinks of this very obvious solution that is a natural part of the current environment. Y'all are gymnasts... just swing. Y'all are android users... just flash. That's it.

No lags.eve... moreWife has an S10e, it's rapidly becoming useless - using storage randomly, dropping call sound, dodgy BlueTooth, strange display tint, hopeless battery life and slow, janky performance.
Typical Samsung in my experience.

My 7t is lagging now after near 3 year and looking for an upgrade, waiting for full review to decide buying 10t or wait for a nord 3.
Samsung have good update policy but exynos chipset for global users is crap.
