The key point is that the company should have made the OS stable from the very start before selling it. Because they all had the resources to do so, source codes and whatsoever. Selling a phone with an unstable OS that degrades performance, usability and battery life is the main reason why there are passionate community developers builds custom OS to be substituted with the official OS. Its not their job to do it though, and they arent paid to do it (they just got some pennies through voluntary donations and ads they injected to their download site).

benjieloria01x, 16 Aug 2022Thats a terrible downgrade, except that it was launched wit... moreDespite Poco M4 Pro using a D810 (NOT to be confused with the old D800), it's essentially just a D700+ since it's based on that chip; the benchmarks and performance tests don't lie either. D810 is better on sustained performance though, but peak performance only slightly improved.
What makes it really a downgrade are cameras and its price. Had it shipped with a better sensor + better algorithm to enhance snaps coming off of it, and launched at lower prices (or improving its RAM+Storage combo for the same price), I'm sure it will win people's mind. Selling it at 220 USD for a 4+64 model though is a ripoff. Would recommend if the price go lower another 50 bucks, or offering a 6+128 model for the same price as current 4+64 one.

Dont buy poco mobiles it sucks , too much of OS issues and service centres not proceeding properly for warranty service , waste go for another brand

Thats a terrible downgrade, except that it was launched with Android 12. Poco M3 Pro 5G and M4 Pro 5G are much better with the latter has a better SoC (D800) and their prices pretty much dumped today between $125-$200. And that tear drop whatsoever ugly notch is so 2018. Can companies get rid of notch already its awful even the punch hole.

The back design is nice, the front "U" shape screen under the camera is very 2018 design.
but we need a camera review so we can compare the new 13 MP with the old one.

This is basically a Poco M3 pro 2022 edition but they are asking more compared to 2021.
Way to go Xiaomi/Poco....
