LG KF750 Secret preview: Adding to the fun

16 May 2008
Sophisticated looks and exclusive bodywork have unfailingly implied a no-thrills performance. Now, that may as well be the Secret about LG KF750. What we have here is an exquisitely crafted premium handset with a feature pack worthy of its looks. The LG KF750 Secret is the third slimmest handset to feature a 5 megapixel camera and that's just the icing of the cake. Touch screen and exotic Neon Touch navigation, some amazing video recording capabilities and auto-rotation get delivered in a carbon fiber and tempered glass package. Never has Black Label promised this much.

Samsung and LG are the same company( believe it or not). Their headsets, tv outs, adaptors, and more works with each other. Even people that repair your phones say they are the same company. Thats also y their phones are so similar. Its a sort of secret partnership.

did you know that samsung copies lg, everytime lg releases a really good and popular handset, a little later samsung comes out with similar technology. the touchscreen first started with motorola, in which later lg developed it with prada (where the form factor was first used on touchscreens with no OS, candybar). Lg also invented the 4 shortcut buttons at the bottom of the screen. so dont say lg tech is based on samsungs. also the ultra edition line started because of lg's black label series. the ultra series 2 copies the shine, in every form factor. the e900 also copies the chocolate. the i520 copies the ks10. the f480 and armani copies the prada. the f490 copies the iphone and viewty. the e950 copies the kf600 (first as venus). the u900 soul copiesw the kf750 secret. the g400 soul copies the moto razr2. the g810 copies the nokia n95. i could go on, but what's the point, i made myself clear, alteast those who have the common sense to not make asumptions just because they think something else is better

It isnt out yet so u cant trash it. The same quality from the viewty could b in this phone... why not. This is a solid phone :)

Sorry to disagree here guys. The Chocolate is a retailers nightmare, a terrible phone with the highest returns rate seen for years. The Shine was exactly the same. As this seems set to be a follow-up.

All I see here is another annoying touch-pad (has failed to work well on the E900, U600, choclate and KF600), a re-hash of the Shine's looks and an ugly combo of carbon/glass effect.

For me LG remain one of the poorest manufacturers. The Viewty was good, a vaste improvement on the Prada and their other models. They should explore this avenue more, a full touchscreen that steal appeals to an everyday audience. Their current phones seem to closely modelled on the slide/touchpad system that Samsung are catering for. And I'm sorry to say it, but Samsung do it better .

This is a great phone. I saw the LG rep in my store in Bradford and had a play with the phone. The tempered glass is a great invention as it does not scratch (i tried it out. and its true) the games on the phone are great fun and the camera is really good quality too.

Is that blue on the glassy areas just a trick of the light, or is it a colour option?
                          thanks for any answers

Beautiful but in my opinion LG should stop to made cell phone they have a lot of issues with chocolate and shine never can fix soft problem, i mean till now they didn't, it's easy to pushing LG than any other phone, lot of bugs and can not really support dual calls...they are expert in LCD screen and split (Air conditionner) but cell phone is not their domain yet....

Cannot see any interest in touch keys really. A standard keyboard is soooooo much better
