So, I went over the review looking for anything about eSIM & 5G connectivity. Can it run 5G on both SIMs?

For the price not many phones can beat this one with superior quality and simple and good looks.
The price drop is good news it makes this phone even more valuable for money and even I am a Galaxy S22 ULTRA user that's over twice as expensive as this phone you really won't miss a lot on it for sure. My friend has the X30 when we compare day to day use there's really no difference in speed or anything.

I think I am gonna wait for X30 to fall in $400, if that ever happens.

As much as I aim for this phone as my next, Honor X9a is now released for like $200 cheaper in my country (Philippines) with the same processor and better screen.
I really am conflicted because Nokia offers a clean Android experience (which I totally like), but aside from that, the $200 difference really makes me conflicted.
I think being environmental is being affordable too...

HMD Nokias usually performs better than other phones of the competitor brands. I avoided a Xiaomi with better specifications for a HMD Nokia and didn't regret it.
There was no crapware, performance was very good for the specifications, could run PUBG from the SD card without lagging, design and make was very superior for the price, supported aptx audio, NFC and VOLTE etc.
The only downside was that HMD didn't let users reprogram the Google assistant button and there was no custom ROM cause HMD was (probably intentionally) too slow in releasing the firmware.

Nokia X30 is the best Android phone I have ever used and I love every aspect of it and I love it the most because of the electronic SIM support.

It might be good, decent, but at a lower price. At that way too high price ofc it will trigger so called "trollers". But the fact stands, it is a bit overpriced for what it offers. And I don't think that owning a Nokia will actually change their mind...and about this Carol guy...a little bit more and he would have brought out his attorney. Those were a bit more than simple defensive statements. And they weren't very...good to say the least.

David 040882, 09 Jan 2023Welcome to the Nokia X30 review comment section! This c... moreI disagree, most comments are trolls, most complain about the price and specs while they never have owned a Nokia. All they do is talk bad about the phone, not one phone but all the phones of specific brands. I am disappointed these forums are filled with such people who live to bash anything that don't fit their own needs. For example, Mr Carol can not be found in forums bashing other brands, instead there's mere defensive replies to trolls. Trolls comment their own phones forums and bashing in others.

IQ200, 18 Jan 2023Don't get too upset arguing with people over HMD Nokia... moreExcuse me, HMD ruined Nokia brand? You're joking. The Nokia brand was DEAD. HMD revived it. The ones ruining the brand were Microsoft, with their Lumia garbage devices.
It's not accurate to compare nowadays smartphones to the phones of the early 2000's. They are completely different devices and cannot be compared. There was a lot less competition too, and Nokia had enough profit and control of the market to be able to innovate their phones' design.
But that's just it. The only innovation was outside, the software was still entirely the same! Regardless, I know what you mean, even though it is fueled my nostalgia, as I feel the same. Bottom line is, Nokia wasn't ruined by HMD Global. Without them, Nokia phones would simply not exist, period.
