The main camera seems to have same image quality when compared with phones released in the last 5 years?
Not much improvement which tells me more pixels doesn't equate to higher image quality 😬

101hr endurance rating is seriously impressive for such a small battery paired with a flagship chipset, one tuned specifically for Samsung at that. Not too long ago 8 Gen 1 phones were getting horrible battery life with some of the biggest batteries in the industry.

I've been using it for a couple of days now. Worthwhile upgrade if you have a 3-4yo phone.

preordering the phone now, was just waiting your review, thanks for that!
at last a great compact phone, with decent battery life and without garbage exynos.
but i don't see any mention to the light mode, which is very interesting for me... will that help with thermals and battery life without dropping too much performances for normal tasks and average usage?

Lol did GSM say the s22 was near perfect, in which reality are we talking about because it aint this one. Bad battery, worse screen in a compact phone, slowest charging, most expensive, no accessories in the box, still using like 4 generstion old, poor quality cameras, buggy and broken hardware that was a known issue since s20 series.
No difference to this except tiny little improvements in a couple of areas...for £1000, im positive GSM are just trying to sell samsung devices now. I also like how in the battery test it was only against samsung, apple, sony and 1 budget Xiaomi phone and not any half decent charging phone all just to make the s23 look better, just wow.

I will give props to Samsung for "refining" what they have rather than just adding new features by the bucket. It's an Apple-esque approach but it will work very well.
First phone I'd recommend after S20, S21 which I think we're doomed due to their battery life. Especially if Pixel 8 is like, yeah f*ck you, here have a revolutionary 90hz display for $750.

Looks like all that jazz about special SD version and optimisation wasnt all bs after all, battery life alone makes this a good buy.
