Honor 9xa or realme 10pro+ which is batter

Aierlan, 23 Feb 2023Battery tests Honor magic 5 lite 3g talk time: 40:33hrs ... moreIt means the magic5 lite uses less power when calling, web browsing and watching videos but when the phone is idle its using more power than the a53 which is how it got a better overall score. The magic 5 lite will be slightly better if you consume a lot of content and call a lot, a53 will be better if you need a decent phone that can take pictures and you occasionally cosume content on.

Email them to find out! Maybe it's a typo?

Regardless, I think the device is overpriced in my country. Here in the UK, it's retailing for £330. Honor is also retailing the Honor 70 for £350.

For £20 more, you can get their upper mid range device with the 778g+, more ram, better screen, better camera etc.

There is no phone around it in the list of battery rating with such high scores accross the board in the 3 areas they measure so it's still a little strange I think they should give an explanation of standby usage if it is part of the test and how that can have such a big influence on the score.

Aierlan, 23 Feb 2023Battery tests Honor magic 5 lite 3g talk time: 40:33hrs ... moreI think gsmarena also factor in the standby power consumption into the overall endurance rating.

Therefore, from your example - it may be that the other device has better/longer standby.

                  Battery tests
                  Honor magic 5 lite
                  3g talk time: 40:33hrs
                  Web browsing: 17:17hrs
                  Video playback: 22:25hrs

                  Samsung a53
                  3g talk time: 32:11hrs
                  Web browsing: 12:43hrs
                  Video playback: 19:58hrs

Yet the a53 has an overall rating of 113hrs versus 111hrs for the magic 5 lite despite being significantly weaker in every category. Clearly this makes absolutely no sense and must be wrong

Durability is all this phone has to brag, but besides that -- everything is just mediocre

Anonymous, 22 Feb 2023Makes sense, it has a giant battery and a middleclass-chip.... moreThe marketing for this in my country is all about the durability of the screen, too bad, once the interest in that fades, there is nothing else to offer.

I bought the Honor X9a and I got a 40W charger and a case in the box. It has a good battery life.

Haven't read the review but must say the device in the thumbnail looks like an iPod Nano.

In Malaysia where it was X9a, there indeed was charger brick inside the box, so I am kinda surprise that the European version doesn't have it :/

This phone can best be described as "All style no substance".

Great and honest review. I really like the design of the phone, but the rest is a big fail. Why not buy the Honor 70 for 50 Euro more. This phone does not make sense!

The display is absolutely gorgeous for its segment. However; Magic6 Lite needs to bring huge upgrades over its predecessor, especially for the camera and chipset parts. Honor's update policy is a drawback, too.

Funny thing, the cons you listed are exactly the same I have for the 2 past Honor phones I had : Honor 50 and Honor x8.

Very average cam quality overall, noticeable inconsistencies between sensors, hdr isn't automatic or reachable with a quick toogle, it's a fully separated mode, beware
No 4K recording (we aren't anymore in 2015)
Useless loudspeaker easily noticeable the first time you use it in a car with Maps/Waze etc.. you have to be totally silent in your car to hear it

Also, updates are mostly for security every few months, I haven't got any OS update on any of them.
