This in my experience my 1st Xiaomi phone in 10 years that I am not convinced buying. After 3months of usage, 2 sim card, no gaming or social media usage, just you tube outlook and Whatsapp photos, phone battery drains completely and required charging at least 2 times by noon.
It charges in 15-20 minutes back to 100% from single digit. But when I was during vacation I always needed a power bank only for myself.
Other things such as camera etc are good, but battery performance is awful.

Xiaomi 12T Pro belongs to Redmi K series in China. In China it calls Redmi k50 Ultra ,just like its name and its Chinese series,Redmi K series plays a roll of flagship phone killer just like you said.

I bought the 9T model when it came out. I am still very satisfied. Probably the most popular models of the T series have been the 9T and 9T pro. After about 4 years, the 9T works very well and I'm sure anyone who uses it cleanly will use the 12T for a long time. The only thing I don't like about Xioami is that it produces many models and is very slow in updating. I don't know how good the update policy is for new devices, but as far as I can see from the internet, 1 year old devices are waiting for an update.

I bought my 12T pro (12gb + 256gb) in the Philippines for $680. I'm satisfied with my phone. The 446ppi 120hz screen is buttery smooth. It charges from 0 to 100 in less than 25 min. The camera takes impressive detail at 50mp mode. The MIUI 14 (Android 13) have already started rolling out in other parts of the world. I'm happy with this phone.

This phone is very well balanced. Battery life is better than most with snapdragon 8 gen1, human eye is hardly capable of seeing resolution above 1080p.
Camera overall is very good, and UFS3.1 makes it very fast. Xiaomi 12T Pro has all the frequencies for all networks and reception is excellent. I recommend it
