Bought this phone around May 2nd week. Immediately appeared a DOT on primary display and after waiting for 15days display is changed and is given back by Carl Care vijayawada.
I found our back flap is open exposing all critical components, Volume button missing .Service situation is bad and also there seems to be issues in the product also.
I rate 3 Star fro the procust and 2 star for the service and their response as of today.
I prescribe not to buy this phone.It is not worth the issues.

My inner screen needed replacement within 6 months of buying the phone, it just blacked out for no reason. I didn't even daily drive it, kept it at home to watch YouTube and such. I started daily driving it for the past month and now the replacement screen is on its way out(literally). The crease in the middle is swelling up. I would be mad if I hadn't gotten this phone as a gift. At least with Chinese phone pricing, you expect to use the phone as disposable after 2 years or so.

I upgraded my tecno camon 19 pro from android 12 to android 13 and then the photo compressor and photo collage disappeared from AI gallery.

To me, this is the main reason I would not buy this phone - I have a Sony Xperia 5.2 and while the hardware of it is exceptional, you can often tell that the software is done by a significantly smaller team than e.g. Samsung. Occasional crashes, freezes, wi-fi randomly not connecting etc., all the issues I simply did not have with my previous Samsung device. They don't happen too frequently, but they happen often enough for me to never buy a Sony phone again.
Now Tecno is similarly insignificant in terms of market share like Sony, AND with a foldable device you have much more software problems you have to deal, so I can pretty much guarantee that after couple of months many users will regret not spending the extra for the Z fold

I may be seeing things wrong but are the radius of curvature on the cover screen different for the left and right sides? Like, couldn’t they have done it like the zfold4 where the left side a little bit more bezel?

With the Camon 18 Premier they were extremely late with it, but they did give an OS update from Android 11 to 12, I'd assume on a newer and way more expensive device they'd give updates faster. Time will tell, but they do definitely give updates.

A good start for techno the problem is they do not provide software updates even security updates the foldablemarket is expanding

First gen, yet it's already fairly strong especially compared to Samsungs lineup. I'm just embarassed at their lack of innovations, their Foldables seem to barely improve despite soon releasing their 5th gen
