That's not bias. The reason is that note 12 is costlier than A54 in Europe. While it's much cheaper than A54 in India. So GSMArena is analysing it according to it's Europe cost

Kangal, 02 Apr 2023It's interesting how biased this review is. This phon... moreI think that's because it was so good, that gsm arena team can barely find any weakness from the redmi note 😄

It's sad to know the fact that redmi note 12 pro and pro+ has pretty bad battery life, hopefully the vanilla one would do good bcs it employs SD685, which by previous generation has proved it's efficiency

Kangal, 02 Apr 2023It's interesting how biased this review is. This phon... moreYeah it's an unbearable amount of bias ..

And the sad reality it nothing will change they'll continue do reviews the same way forever but these same people will readily call out manufacturers for barely improving .. the irony

I think the gsmarena staff have long lost their passion/innovation in reviews I doubt their even experimenting with all the new reviews styles from people like geekerwan etc

This is all nice but how does this note 12 pro/+ compare to the great 12T pro?
correct me if I'm wrong but to me the 12t pro seems to be the best overall phone in the Xiaomi 12 lineup.
except the "12 turbo" model that I'm not sure about.

I've had the 12 Lite and this phone and the camera's are nowhere near the same. The 12 Pro camera blows the Lite away.

And again only speakers are in the review. I want to know, which BT codecs the phone supports! Aptx Adaptive?

Removal of the micro SD card slot was a big mistake.
For the same money I would go for Samsung Galaxy A54.
I am a big fan of Xiaomi but this is the truth.

Seeing few reviews on YT, the battery is not bad even when compared to Realme 10 pro+. I don't really understand why.

This one also have pretty mediocre battery life. Pass.

Would've loved one of these. But the Dimensity is a complete turn off for me. They're good tho. But if it ain't from Qualcomm, I'm not interested!

Redmi without SD card? No thanks.

Anonymous, 01 Apr 2023Instead of buying crapmi note 12 pro, 13 pro, 14 pro, 15 pr... moreMaybe we should also factor in the cost of battery replacements over those years, which isn't cheap when done via official services.

This isn't something I would do because of iOS but for people who just want an iPhone and want other people to see them with an iPhone, it would be even better to wait for the vanilla iPhone 15 later this year because it will have the screen cutout/dynamic island as the Pro without costing as much, which will most likely be the same front design of iPhones until 2026 at least.

                                    TSMC's 6nm "efficient" strikes again.

rizki1, 01 Apr 2023in Indonesia this phone is 4.6 million IDR (€285/$300) 8/25... moreNote 12 turbo will be a bit more expensive (probably will be the Poco f5 globally). You can tell from the Chinese pricing. It's priced closer to the Redmi note 12 pro+ in China, more expensive than the Redmi note 12 pro. It's definitely a more balanced phone though. Basically the Redmi note 12 pro has a much better main camera sensor but at least the Redmi note 12 turbo supports EIS at 4k (i tried it out in China). It has thinner bezels too and apart from the main camera sensor it is basically better in all other ways. The Realme gt neo 5 SE will also be launched tomorrow. It has better hardware than the Redmi note 12 turbo. It will have a better 1.5k screen and faster 100w charging and all the other specs are basically the same (same OV64b camera and same processor, ir blaster etc). Wonder if they can match Redmi's price though with the better hardware. Will find out tomorrow

It's interesting how biased this review is.
This phone gets lots of praise for barely keeping up, yet it's downsides are merely glossed over, like the higher price and loss of microSD.

Contrast that to the Samsung A52s review.
Even the downgrade to the A53 and A54 got higher praises, in comparison. Particularly the part about performance, I've spent the last day looking at User Feedback, and it's rarely been mentioned about bugs and lags, I've heard the term smooth and flagship most often. And it doesn't throttle. Not like the A54 and Xiaomi, both phones that was again glossed over.

My next device will certainly be looking for reviews from alternate sources. The bias is just too obvious at this point.
