In the uk kevin bacon has been promoting samsung devices with EE for like 4 years now. Only tech adverts you see on british television is samsung devices (last oppo device i saw advertised was the find x2 pro). Samsung have been offical sponsors of multiple football teams like chelsea (one of the biggest clubs in world football) and im sure samsung own a team in south korea called "Suwon Samsung Bluewings". Samsung, BY FAR, spends the most on marketing followed by apple.

I know a lot of influencers, far more in fact, clearly on samsungs payroll and a lot of different influencers will be for different brands, its called sponsorship.

          The great thing about this phone is the Chinese variant has very good band coverage and the Chinese variant supports an international warranty. Therefore you can buy this phone and still enjoy the official warranty in Oppo service centres in most Asian and European countries. That is a great benefit to have when importing a phone

It cannot be activated by hotword and it cannot use continued conversation. To me that is broken..it can do a single command only that way not picking up on the circumstances - e.g work intelligently inside an app. Because you need to press assistant button to activate it. That is not considered working to me. You can get this kind of assistant on any china OS. It needs to be a system app to be fully working which it isn't of course.

            Backup got partly implemented in latest update. Other google services mentioned are still not working.

            And with google being mandated by courts to not require it's services to be pre installed on devices for Android certification, such behavior like assistant is only gonna increase to force manufacturers to include google search or other apps that google actually makes money with. Apps that just cost money but retain users at google will suffer more in future.

            Now nearby share not working but the old useless android beam instead makes no sense at all.. or maybe it's forbidden in China.

                    AnonD-1095021, 20 Apr 2023So not even g pay Well yeah it is china version so it wi... moreI own a Find 6x pro and I can confirm that most of the Google services do work with the Find 6x pro as stated by GSMarena once you install Playstore and related apps such as Google, Gpay, mail, sync, Assistant etc... Only Android Auto did not work for me so far. I have not tested wear as I don't need it. My banking apps work too. All bloatware, about 36 Apps can be uninstalled simply and don't seem to re-appear. Notifications are also flawless which is usually a big pain on chinese Phone. My previous phone is a Mi 11 ultra and the camera on the Oppo is a major upgrade from my point of view.

                        I don't know what magic Nokia did, because 808 PureView was very close to RX100. I would say it even produced softer, more pleasant images than RX100. At least RX100 MK1.

                            Need to manually update google services because play store cannot update them, nor update itself.
                            No nearby share!
                            No fully working android ARCore (it's not certified so will not work with many apps),

                            Instead you get spyware to the brink, lousy update schedule (already in first year expect to be 2-4 months behind on maybe even fake security updates because snoop snitch or other software thinks they are missing)...


                            Yes Vivo and Oppo act indedanty, but the OS is virtually identical except from the AOD and homescreen.

                            It's by far the worst OS on the market from bloatware, spyware and speed of updates for any major Android phone producer.

                            And of course the makor downer, no google assistant.

                                        I highly doubt that Android Auto, Google Pay and other Gservices will work in Europe, like on cinese Xiaomis

                                        yet in the article is said that full working Gservices are installable...
                                        could be a misleading information
