    Great comment btw, shows the quality and quantity of the brain cells in your skull. Im from the uk so thanks for the compliment, now go play like a good little child.

      Class leading photo quality. Right. Looks like a 10 y.o just dragged the sliders to farthest right on a photo editing software. Scared by the saturation really.

When choosing a phone, camera performance (and only stills) is like 80-90% of the value for me. I don't care about videos, only stills. My GF has iPhone 14 Pro but I just don't like the Apple ecosystem. Had it once, just not for me. Pixels, and most of the new Chinese phonos because of that stupid thing with operators were out of the equation. And because I have a friend in Samsung and he borrowed me S23 U for a weekend, just after the premiere I was able to check it out. I was very happy with the images with GCAM, so I took it. So maybe it was not my dream phone, but the best possible option, from what was left.
          And what is funny, I don't care about 10 x Zoom either. I haven't used it even once I think on purpose. Sorry, I am wrong - I took one shot of the moon to check that AI thing. So yeah... it is what it is.

            There is no device not just smartphone but even cameras can record 4k@120 but only 4k@60 .. 8k is pointless will only be stuttering and taking loads of storage .. Even 4k@60 takes too much .. I have Oppo Reno8 Pro 5G and max can do 4k@30 but I use 1k60 which is nice and fluent ans and won't take so much space .. It's not about today
            But depends what you do if u video maker but then you need like 1TB of storage but smartphones has max 256GB .. Only few has 512GB

                I dont know, still got something wrong on its image processing. I've seen better. Tone down the image processing please.

                One thing for sure, I admit this phone hands down got the best rear design! Love it to the moon.

                  I'm not all that impressed with photo samples considering the hardware. Even 13 Pro and x90 Pro impressed me more.
                  Good sides:
                  -in general lovely daytime shots, love the color science,wide dynamic range and minimal noise
                  -grass is detailed,a rarity
                  -extraordinary uw and macro mode
                  -great periscope cam in general
                  -one of the best night modes
                  -the best portrait shots
                  Cons:
                  -50 mp through all cameras is trash, this must be a bug
                  -grass is detailed, but tree branches and bushes are oversharpened, even on 1" sensor
                  -2.8x zoom should have been default zoom in viewfinder, not 3x, 3x is considerably less detailed already
                  -6x is good until you zoom in, then it's pure trash
                  -selfie is nothing to write home about, expectedly
                  All in all, a powerful hardware, but it lacks some serious software fine-tuning.

Petition was signed by hundreds of people and just lately some operators started to turning it on/talking about it. For devices that are going to be not that popular I see no chances. That I basically the main reason why I did not consider Pixels or any devices that are not available officially. That sucks but it is what it is. I got used to it. Got S23 Ultra and with GCAM on board is ok.

                        I don't have volte and I don't care I don't even call often but when compatible device calks or am on 5G it shows HD which is perfect quality ..
                        I have WiFi call enabled but newer used ..

                          So I agree with you that it should not be the case, but operators can switch off/on features for selected devices, and this is what they do in my country.

                              Drop 5g. LTE. VoLTE does not work on any, ANY phone from outside of the white list. It is not enough just to phone to support it. It was enabled to Pixel lately by one operator, just because there are many people with Pixes now, and there were a lot of complaints about it. And it will be the same for 5G when it is on in Poland. I KNOW that for now, it is using n1 - 2100 Hz only. But even if all bands were available it would not change a thing! Still, this phone is not officially available so it would not work. And now, you cannot connect EVEN to that N1 because your phone, which you have imported is not allowed to. Not that it is not supporting, but the connection is being rejected event to KNOWN bands. Do you need a diagram for that?
                              It is artificial limitation made by operators. That is it.

                                You masts in Poland are crap still running on 4g evn in uk still has provisional 5G but still running at much better spectrum due to nsa and sa modes

                                    For adequate 5G you need n78 runs at 3400Mhz and n77 runs from 3600-4000mhz spectrum .. And supports nsa and sa modes
                                    Definitely in Poland you don't have it yet

Even if I buy a mobile phone, that has a band that all our operators are supporting, if it is not on the white list of supported devices, it will not connect to either 5G or VoLTE. And on the white list are only devices available via official channels and small exceptions like Pixel (not all of them, not for all operators and it is a very fresh thing). So again, not that easy.

I practicly never use video and when, so fhd 60fps coz this resolution/fps is ok today, no need more, special from smartphone.
