Actually their battery life isn't such a problem as is portrayed by gsmarena. I find it in some phones to be much better than what their app is saying.

Xiaomi have really, really dropped the ball with battery life on the 12 series. Low power SOC, 5,000 mah battery but only 101hr endurance rating?? Go home Xiaomi, you're drunk.
Their hubris will be their downfall. As it was with Nokia, HTC and LG

4g1 and 695 are same chip.
But 4g1 has A78 lowered to 2.0 GHz while A55 increased to 1.8GHz.

Still this phone with 1080p screen and 5000mAh could barely reach 101h?
        Awful.
Should have scored way over 125.

This phone should cost 200€ max. And that even with android 13. Samsung is better in midrange category now.

At least Samsung can get away because people will defend OneUI, which is quite decent. MiUI on the other hand...

Same thing is going on with Motorola. They finally gained popularity so they no longer have to put effort to become bang for the buck.

Pretty sad to see Xiaomi nowadays. All the low end and midrange stuff are downgrades compared to the last couple generations.

What's up with Xiaomi this year? Bad battery optimisation, old and out-dated software, inadequate performance for the price range, even some Samsung phones, which are not everyone's favorite, could be considered a better deal. What happened to them?

Xiaomi is failing big time with batteries this year. As if overpricing, software downgrades and bad OS weren't enough already
