      I would like the term "triple sensor" to be replaced by "double sensor" or "2+1 setup". Maybe I am biased because I find the macro camera quite useless compared to an actual zoom or ultra wide lens.

      Prices are no getting better but those decent telephoto are discretely being replaced by the macro ones.

            In both cases, F5 and F4, gsmarena was impressed by quality of the camera. I'm almost sure that the difference between them are marginal anyway, but they need to use different words to not repeat themselves.
            Just saw a comparison between F5 and A54. In my opinion, viewing the video on the phone, F5 images look better, more natural, while A54 has an over sharp and saturated image which makes them look artificial.

              - always (consume more power)
              - scheduled

                heyyy Poco F5 has no alternative, this is the best phone you can buy for the money.

                            'To be honest, we were skeptical about the Poco F5's main camera performance in the sense that there won't be any improvements from last year's F4, which makes good stills to begin with. However, the F5 shows a big improvement in overall quality. Maybe the new ISP inside the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 deserves some credit. Either way, the daylight samples below are really impressive.'

                            In your review of the Poco f4 you said the following,' 'The primary camera on the Poco F4 saves 16MP by default, and those photos come out great. There is a good amount of resolved detail, and the gentler noise reduction makes for a somewhat more balanced look.

                            The dynamic range is outstanding, contrast is likable, and the color accuracy and presentation are praise-worthy.'

                            Last year's Poco F4 was great with outstanding dynamic. To me this is very dubious. If this year's version is so much better then how could you have used words like "great" and "outstanding" for the Poco F4. I wonder if you even compared them side by side when doing the review or are just going from memory?

                            With all these superlatives how can readers know what to believe?

                              Qualcomm does not force OEMs to use 120/144/165/240Hz screens.
                              Qualcomm does not foce OEMs to use 1400/1700/2000 nits.
                              Qualcomm does not force users to spend 3h daily on games.
                              Qualcomm does not force users to check messages or social media posts every 5 min.

My early redmi devices so awful because of bad software optimization by xiaomi. And later on, still awful, but not too bad like early. That's the weakness of xiaomi, the software. But hardware so crazy, they even included 67w power brick unlike Samsung that follow Apple way

                                    gen66, 12 May 2023what's the difference between their always on displays... morein F5 and many other xiaomi-redmi-poco phones the AoD last only 10 seconds, then the display turn totally off. there are some other models, top range usually, that have a "real" AoD that can last 24/7, but they turn off if the phone stay in totally darkness for more than 5 minutes. so you can't use it like a night watch. the "nice" thing is that many of this phones have a real AoD if they are the versions for the chinese market

                                      speaking of unsustained performance, they are not unlocking its thermal limiters in default, that is why, doing cpu throttling is useless (it is for the sake of safety of the chipset on board from breaking it early)

                                        Alex 94, 12 May 2023Soc is unstable, and far less optimised then sd 870.Well we need to see more reviews, all their recently devices have issues, look at redmi note 12 series they have bad battery life even though others have good battery life with same soc.

                                        Lets wait for realme or other device with same soc.
