It might be the security also; that makes the Android OS so heavy. (And even applets and packages.)
Is it politically influenced redundant security OS features? Android is open source; so it might have fell to Apple's (iOS) criticisms and bogged down the operating system.
Android no longer even fulfills it's purpose as an OS for light devices; because phones these days it can no longer even run on devices with 512 MB ram. (The devices brick.)
What then is the purpose of a mobile OS? To support a computer?
Either way; the consumer ended up paying the ultimate price.
One cellphone (cash) costs an entire month's salary.
We might be heading for disaster.

It offers ample stora... moreYoure not wrong, but android + phone ui is lot heavier than windows, mac os, or linux, and phone screen resolution and pixel density is lot higher than your average 1366 x 768 laptop or pc monitor, and background task on phone heavier than pc or laptop, example : hotspot, notifications, dualsims, gps bluetooth, and also android apps apk is heavier than windows apps exe, you can emulate windows easily on smartphone but your pc will struggle emulating android

Compared to other company's same price range phone this lies to the bottom. It started slow down within 2 months, I didn't expect this from samsung. Sorry to say, this phone is not up to the mark.

i bought my samsung A24 3 months ago and i did software update after that it started jamming the screen doesnt touch now it has stains of ink. it never fell neither applied pressure on it

I'm using galalxy A32...I dropped my phone 50 times.
finally the screen is cracked.phone still works but replacing new screen cost too much. I'm going to buy this phone.

I saw that the A25 solved 4 of the 6 listed cons of the review (and expecting the charger in the box to come back would be unrealistic)

How do you clean your phone's screen and body if there is no IP rating for this? Is using a wet wipes safe?

Does this have gorilla glass? According to some retail websites, this has Gorilla glass. I really don't like using tempered glass, screen protectors on my phones.
