Normally, the model number changes only once per year. The first Reno phone was launched in April 2019. In 4 years, we have already reached the Reno 10 series. They are diluting the brand value by launching new model numbers every 4-6 months.

I feel the rating is a bit harsh, especially considering a generally good set of cameras including a telephoto camera with a usable zoom up to 5x.
However as always with OPPO phones the prices seems too high. I think the standard Reno 10 looks like a better deal. I got it for Euro 449 with with OPPO headphones and case as freebies, waiting for it to arrive 😊

the 18 month older Reno7 5G seems like a better phone. This Reno10 looks like a step or two backwards.

The plus side of this phone is the return of telephoto lens to midrangers. Again, seems like Oppo is making decent trade offs nowadays.

Idk why they insist on changing the specs of their phones for international launches. It would be cheaper to use the same hardware and just cha he the software to their international variant, but they change both instead. Hopefully the 10 pro plus is actually worth buying bc this is awful.

" The new Pixel 7a would naturally be our first choice with its better 90Hz OLED display, bigger 64MP main camera and bigger 12MP selfie. It, however, is a pricier device than the Reno10 Pro and closer to the EUR 500 mark than the EUR 400 one."
Cam of 7a is smaller. It is 1/1.76"

32 MP telephoto lens is a nice upgrade over Reno8 Pro. Nonetheless, chipset is really DISAPPOINTING! (SD 778G is a capable chipset, yet it's a downgrade over D8100)
