All in all, this is the best foldable so far. The price is more than OK, for the last generation of a foldable, grip is awsome, hardware is good, even SD 7 gen1. Yes, gaming is not a big deal on this one, but who really plays hardcore games on foldables and their plastic screens? This might be the first midrange foldable phone and I would like to see more of them from other brands.

Only call time was bad. Should be at least 7-8h more.

So... the Snap 7 Gen 1 indeed is a poor CPU, no matter who uses it. I would have thought the lower chipset can at least transform to excellent battery life. But that is even worse than competition with smaller batteries.
Motorola, take this tragedy back to China.

I was expecting good battery score on this since I'm currently considering to buy it but 85 hrs is a bit of a disappointment especially considering the size of it's battery and a relatively advance chipset than on my current phone
The standby performance appears to be especially poor as someone else pointed out. Idk why or how moto has optimised it but it's a big disappointment

The only downside I see for this device is its battery life, particularly stand-by time. Was hoping for something similar to Oppo's Flip endurance score.

Looks fine for the rest of it, saw this model for €760 already here, however Flip 4 512gb sits at around €790 here.

Just 200 hours standby very low for a 4200 mah battery cell. That's weird

Standby performance seems quite terrible. Just 200 hours for 4200 mah battery is very very bad

Thanks for the excellent review @team GSMARENA!
Very tempting, and if it only carried the SD 7 Gen 2, I'd have pressed "order" already...

It is miUI that makes some SoCs have bad reputation.
Mediatek chips got bad reputation years ago because cheap phones from xiaomi and oppo, while they were fine on LG and Sony.

At this price, a poor chipset just for a flip factor is not worth it. Its better if you just get a normal bar phone instead.
