    What's an "Android fork"? Android itself is a "Linux fork", which in turn, is an Open-Source OS.
    At this point of time, it's impossible to create another OS that even stands a chance in front of existing ones. Better use their core functionality and build on top of it.

      Memory extensions are useless af.

      Once you extended the memory, they'll still auto sleep apps to make that wasted

          crispcketlicker, 30 Aug 2023I really don't trust this "memory extension"... moreIt sucks. When I was using MIUI and it being turned on, the camera lagged like hell. Turning it off soothened the experience a bit. But in custom ROMs now, there's 0 lag.

                    Isn't Samsung just the same? One UI 5 really looks like One UI 4 which looked like One UI 3. The animation might be smoother, but the user interface is 99,98% similar.

                    I said this as a Samsung user lol.

                      Miui will be gone next year apparently. Xiaomi is supposedly launching níos tó replace it, at least in China. This seems to be following in the footsteps of Huawei who launched their own 'os' rather than just a 'ui'

                        Concerning the do not disturb mode and "On or off, notifications are still coming through".

                        You have chosen the wrong mode. You should choose the allow notifications from none. If you allow notifications from anyone, as you have, then of course you get notifications.

                        The options include:
                        From anyone (enabled in your screenshot)
                        From contacts only
                        From starred contacts only
                        None (what you are looking for, gsmarena)

                          Expensive not worth it
                          S23 ultra is better and it's for the same price

                            As I said couple months ago, the Pro will be losing imx989 to make Ultra more "exclusive".

                              I really don't trust this "memory extension" feature. I keep it off on my secondary phone, an Galaxy S10e with 6 gigs of RAM, cuz when I enabled the RAM Plus feature my phone became sluggish
