    Plus, I seriously doubt any OEM is willing to pay more for UFS 3.1 and LPDDR5 if they're using this cheap low end chipset in the first place. They're probably doing what Xiaomi did here and stay in UFS 2.2 and LPDDR4 to save more money.

Maybe manufacturer's will lessen u and will implement 400 nits screen, probably if they decide to shrink profit by 50%.           1. It help to increase screen visibility when you use your phone outdoor

          2. It help displaying hdr content where only part of the screen will reach 1000 nits.

          Thats why most phones to get over 1000 nits your phone has to be in Auto mode.

              Exactly. And don't tell me viewing a screen at 1000+ nits won't damage eyes, when compared to a 300-400 nits one. That's a "fact", cry about it, but it will remain a fact.

              Kindly enlighten me about that 1,000,000 (1000k) phone you talked about.
              Also, wireless audio will always offer an inferior audio quality at any given price segment, be it $10 or $100 or $1000.

              And again, irrespective of your rants (or justification) about the rest, my point of "not having them, is NOT a feature, but the lack of it" still holds true.

Hopefully those pe... moreYou clearly haven't seen 4g2 specs on paper, just because Xiaomi or any other OEM decides to not use the full potential of the chipset doesn't mean it's inferior to 695, you're comparing the best released 695 phones with a phone that didn't use UFS 3.1 and LPDDR5 which 4g2 is capable of, so of course benchmarks will rate it lower...

Emulation is mainly done on CPU so for emulating the 4g2 will be superior to 695.

                            miui fanboys should read the software section before replying to me with garbage whenever I say miui is bad. I like xiaomi phones. A lot. And I do use one but I always install a custom rom asap whenever I buy a new one.

If they kept the same Adreno 619 of the 695/4 Gen 1 then it would have been an improvement, should OEMs use the faster UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5X memory. As it is the graphics performance is close to Snapdragon 675, chipset from five years ago.

So the SD 4 Gen 2 on this device did not taking advantage with UFS 3.1 and LPDDR5 at once.

                                        I thought, if Redmi 12 5G will put UFS 3.1 and leave it as LPDDR4x memory, this would be a great improvement.

                                        Take the example of realme 11 Pro series with D7050/D1080. From UFS 2.2 on realme 10 Pro+, now their 11 Pro series are now using UFS 3.1. Seeing a minor improvements in AnTuTu Storage Benchmark.
