i have been waiting for this phone and on my surprise i found it in serbia(!)of course legal in a fine shop.its price is 369 euros

These guys dont need to worry about the Sony Ericsson W980.
SE are so unreliable that it is laughable.
The only problem I can see with this samsung is... it's ugly. Someone at R&D should have given the phone to their child with a box of colouring pens.

Um.. in the review.. under the camera section i "think" there is a typo? It says:
"By the way, the occasionally noticeable red tint that Samsung G400 Soul suffers is clearly dealt with in G400."

best clamshell so far, but the main screen is too small and it should grab better videos. Still waiting for the LG canu801ex...

Samsung G400 are follower(in design, especially RAZR2 V8 & V9), like Nokia N76. But only similar, not copycat. If u talk about the feature, I think the follower are better. It's reason why Motorola has go down in market share, they always make product with similar design & feature. Many people was bored with Moto portfolio.
Samsung strategy are better. After the succeeded Ultra edition line up in 2007, they boost the feature, product image(design) & product build quality in 2008 with their new line up SOUL. Soul mean spirit of ultra was launch in CES 2008 Barcelona.

calls can be rejected on the exterior screen but not answered with out flipping open - what's wrong with Sammy? The software is downright crappy!!! and their software inferiority hasn't changed a bit over the years!!!

This phone is amazing....
I'm an honest SE fan, and this is probably the only samsung phone I've dropped jaws to... all is good, except for the design. I'd give that a 6/10. Exterior looks decent, but interior is just a 3 year old design....
Very Impressive tho, clamshell + external music/camera + touch screen....
