Always choose the same technology that the real pro's use which would be IPS display panel.

Do you have any clue where the price of this tablet would've gone if OnePlus gave amoled screen for these budget tabs. any idea ? I'll give u hint... it would be more than double. And at that price it would no longer serve the purpose for affordable budget tab. seriously where does people like you get these ridiculous expectations from! ??

Honestly MI pad 6 is the only good choice in this segment. It's better to spend a little bit more and buy MI pad 6 than these below average tablets.

It ... moreThe Xiaomi Pad 6 is almost twice as expensive for a worse aspect ratio and unnecessary features for reading, and the Galaxy Tabs aren't any better. The market is full of identical tablets, we really didn't need yet another manufacturer pumping out 11" ~2560x1600 resolution 16:10 tablets with marginally different specs. The only negative I see with this tablet is the size, I don't know why they made it so big and bulky. If it was 8-9" it would be perfect.

I hate that tablets are getting ridiculously big these days, the sub 9 inch segment has all but disappeared and those that are available have sub par display with 720p resolutions and mediocre chips.

I am not going to lie, buy the Xiaomi Pad 6 via Amazon. It has HDR, Dolby Vision, 144hz, SD870 5G chipset and stylus support (not to mention a better 16:10 ratio) for 399 euros or 430 USD.
If your more of a Samsung person, check out Galaxy Tab S7/S7+, goes for around 340-500 on some sites. For Apple, refurbished iPad 10/ or iPad Pro 11 1st gen (A12X is a beast) is a good deal. The Pro 11 is 399-470 while the 10 is 450 new.
OnePlus Pad (normal) is also better but if you want a powerful chipset or wanna create stuff, I'd steer clear of this. It's fine if your doing stuff like watching stuff, reading and all that. But 3D gaming, typing long essays/papers and Excel/Word stuff may not cut it with this chipset at the helm. Also, I don't think this works but, bad chipset + a lot of ram doesn't equal good performance.

So this tablet is basically for media consumption and not designed for productivity use.
Just for Media consumption the Amazon fire HD 10 is more than enough. I paid 70€ on prime day. Installing the Playstore takes 5 minutes.
