Anonymous, 04 Mar 2024Can you recommend the weaker G54? It'd cost more than ... moreis the price difference double for you? Well, then it's not worth it... "Power" has only a slightly larger battery and is offered with more RAM and eSim ... if you do not play games so the difference is not noticeable

"These 50MP images don't offer more detail or any other obvious benefits compared to the regular 12.5MP ones."

Apparently, there are a few fake Quad Bayer sensors on the market. For example, a 12 megapixel dual pixel sensor actually has 24 megapixels, but due to the microlenses, the 24 megapixel output wouldn't give you more detail. That's why such sensors are only advertised as 12 megapixel sensors.

But there are also some Quad Bayer sensors that apparently don't support a full resolution output (due to unknown reasons), but nonetheless they are advertised by counting all of the subpixels, which are partly used solely for the autofocus apparently.

R4TM4NN, 23 Nov 2023The Pocos and Redmis of the prices range come with a 4 Gen ... moreThe problem I see in Samsungs is not their chipsets, but their optimization

Mills, 21 Nov 2023M34 has E1280, Buy Poco/Redmi instead. Never buy a E1280 phoneThe Pocos and Redmis of the prices range come with a 4 Gen 1 or 695. The 1280 performs similarly without too much throttling. So, you get roughly the same performance, with additional bonus of OIS on the main camera and 4k Recording too with a 6000mah battery which actually performs like a 6000mah battery unlike the G54. Unless you can stretch your budget for the Poco x5 Pro or the Redmi note 12 pro, Or if you want to take your chances with Infinix or tecno, the m34 makes sense here.

Fredwinia, 21 Nov 2023Switchen my phone to 90 hrz refreshrate. Just because....I ... moreunless if you have a device with helio g37. yeah it does not make any difference because the processor and gpu could not keep up properly. mediatek loves to rebrand P35 so much with new names and tweaks. like 90hz and 100mhz reduction. pathetic to the max.

Another majorly flawed GSMArena review regarding a Motorola phone. Particularly, the part where they compare to Xiaomi phones is ludicrous... Now I'll demystify all that nonsense:

First the comparison with Redmi Note 12.
Having a larger battery pack and an autofocus ultrawide are no small things, guys. But that's not all. It has stereo speakers missing on the Redmi, a significantly better processor (particularly the CPU area), and larger memory configurations for the same money (where the RAM doubles from 4GB in the Xiaomi to 8GB of the Moto in some countries). Also the ultrawide isn't just better because it has autofocus, it's just better overall.

Then the comparison to the Redmi 12 is a joke, right? Why would you need to save money in order to get an inferior phone? If you want to save money, go read reviews of phones that cost less, this one costs more than the Redmi 12 for some reason...
And you didn't mention all those reasons, just talking about the battery and the screen. Yes, it's the screen, 90 Vs 120Hz, the battery, and what about the processor? Helio G88 and EMMC5.1 can compare to a Dimensity 7020 with UFS memory? A phone without a physical ambient light sensor, without gyroscope, slower charging, a worse selfie camera, surely will cost less. But if you want to save some money, at least suggest a phone that is more comparable to the one in the review, like the Redmi Note 12 4G (instead of the Redmi 12).

Last but not least, the Redmi Note 13 Pro... How can you compare a phone that is not even released in your market with one you currently have there? How can you compare the retail prices of China for the Note 13 Pro with the International prices of the Moto G54? That is simply not comparable, since the Redmi Note 13 Pro will definitely cost at least 100€/$ more than what the Moto G54 costs, placing it on a whole other category of the market. The Redmi Note 13 Pro would compete with a Moto Edge 40 Neo from Moto, which is a higher tier than the G54. So why is it mentioned here...

Last but not least, the A34, at least in Europe, is still significantly more expensive than the G54, but it is arguably better, though I'm sure these 2 aren't meant to compete with each other. Also, there are false assumptions in the text of the review:
"If you are willing to spend a bit more, then the Galaxy A34 is an excellent contender. It is a much better-rounded device that offers things like ..., OIS-enabled camera, which is hard to come by in this price range. Also - stereo speakers."

Even harder to come by are phones costing 200 with OIS, like the Moto G54, regardless of their video filming resolution. Also - stereo speakers, the Moto also has them!

The Moto G54 is purely a budget 5G phone and you compare it with a budget 4G phone (Redmi 12) and two more premium midrangers (RN13 and A34) with higher specs, and also higher price tags. This just doesn't make sense to me...
You're probably full of work so these mistakes can happen, but I suggest next time, please take some time to "review your review" text before publishing.

                                    Thanks
