How to rectify folded double screen when opened only show one half screen.

    Just a quick, perhaps slightly dumb question, but since the ultrawide can do macro, does the software allow you to do macro selfies using the cover screen mode? If so, would you guys at GSMArena be willing to try macro selfies with foldables that support them in future reviews?

      You guys mention the pixel fold in this review but still haven't reviewed it. When will that be reviewed?

              And still using old li-po battery tech. Battery will be dead in 3 years. Samsung, Pixel and Apple using the newest tech li-ion. They dont have fast charge bjt the battery will last more than 5 years

                "IPX8 rating" Unless you want to dip the phone underwater, an IPX4 rating (which this device has) would be enough for everyday spills.
                "Optimized multitasking" That's one, but it's not like the Find N3 isn't. It's released for global market and therefore most likely has the same optimization level as z fold 5.
                "Wireless charging" something that spoils the phone's battery faster.
                "Also comfortable small stylus" Yes, the device does support the oppo pen for find n2/N3 and is sold separately like the z fold 5.

                And explain how you're getting less features? You're getting a much better camera system in a body (excluding camera bump) that's slimmer and lighter. Plus a cover screen that's the aspect ratio of a normal phone. All for the same price or cheaper as fold 5 in most regions for base storage (16gb + 512gb for find N3 Vs 12 + 256gb for z fold 5)

                  Desktop mode, IPX8 rating, optimized multitasking, wireless charging, also comfortable small stylus are minimum standard for big screen foldable phone.

                    And it's not "chinaphobic." The correct term is sinophobic. If you want to insult or denigrate others, at least use proper vocabularies. 😜

The only thing uncomfortable about the Z5 is typing on the front screen and that isn't even a feeling shared across the board which is likely why Samsung stuck to this design. It's not like they can't make a bigger fold. They choose not to.

                        If you're a 1+ fan or you just prefer the Open, that is fine but there is no need to push false narratives claiming the Z5 is uncomfortable. The Z4 isn't even uncomfortable. It's a 3mm difference and people have said the huge camera module on the Open takes some getting used to.

                          I know zero people who own/ would own a foldable.. and I'm pretty sure the peeps who do own them only buy them when they're heavily discounted.. not sure why tech companies still push them.. I mean look at the amount of comments since it's review.. next to none

So far people with Oppo foldables I’ve met (flip or fold) got it either given for free by Oppo (they’re influencers) or use inside deals like you said (ie getting it through an employee or internal sales from stores). That just proves my point, that their pricing is stupid if nobody’s buying it through the regular retail channel.

I can import a find x6 pro for about s23 money (in the uk). Can get a new find x5 pro for 2nd hand s21 ultra money (base config). Here Apple and samsung are disgustingly expensive and have insane prices for contracts (usually upfront payments, pretty low data plans for like £60+, my ex's iphone 13 base model cost her £50 a month which is just stupid).

                                And id buy this over the Z fold 5 because this is better lol, why would i pay anywhere from £100 to £500 more (again in the uk) for the fold 5? Thats just braindead behaviour.

                                  What a beautifull phone.

                                    Of course, blame the worse battery life than the Open on the extra bloatware of ColorOS that's eating the battery.

Actually you can get oppo phone a lot cheaper if you have phone store owner friend. They said that the profit of the phone is ridiculously high (can be as high as 25%)

                                        I have a Oneplus Open from 2 weeks.

                                        It's much, much better than Samsung Fold 5. It's one of the best smartphone on the planet.

                                        My last was Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, ROG Phone 2, always flagships.

                                        With Oneplus Open (identical like Oppo N3) I have the best experience in smartphone world.
