Spot, 04 Jun 2024A55 or the s23 fe??From the A55 review on gsmarena.

"The only real advantage the Galaxy A55 has over its higher-end sibling is battery life, which is one area where it wipes the floor with the S23 FE. However, it's hard to overlook other aspects and features - better display, faster chipset, better camera experience (has 3x telephoto too), wireless charging, as well as other neat tidbits like Samsung DeX, reverse charging, better ingress protection, etc. The Galaxy S23 FE is objectively the better phone. "

As a S23 fe user the battery life isn't great. I get around 5 - 5.5 hours SoT when using dual Sim. But the rest of the phone is amazing. I dropped it by mistake in the swimming pool a few weeks back and it was on the floor for 50 seconds while I searched frantically for it. And it was working fine once I fished it out. I use the telephoto lens very often. Something few phones have. However if you are a heavy user then the A55 has vastly better battery life.

Spot, 04 Jun 2024A55 or the s23 fe??If money is not a limiting factor and you don't really pay much attention to performance, then the A55 is the better option

Does this S23 FE have DeX wired (via usb adapter cable) support or wireless only?

Not as good as the spec

NUMBER 1 PROBLEM : BATTERY LIFE, it looked like something suck the power dry even when you do nothing

NUMBER 2 PROBLEM : IT HOT, even when you play light games with minimal cg quality

NUMBER 3 PROBLEM : biometric finger tech is so old, u still have to touch the screen, AND IT'S NOT ACCURATE, you have to reallt put your finger on the right spot, it's a shame, losing tech to Chinese products like Xiaomi they put the biometric on the power button, and the ACCURACY IS AMAZING...

the price here in Indonesia is 555usd, my old xiaomi mi 10t from 3 years ago still winning, from battery life, not overheat when play game, and it's screen is wider....

          Dissapointed in samsung 23 fe

I use s20 FE and very happy with it , but planning to upgrade in this month. I like to have better camera and battery life, and my budget is about 600 euros. Which samsung do you recommend?

Guys need help.S23 fe will be available at almost half the price it was initially launched (grossly overpriced) in India during sale , is it a steal or are there better phones out there.
Priorities are camera (photo & videos), software experience, display and battery life. Not intended to game.
The variant is Exynos. Thanks 😊

This phone uses 8 MP, 1/4.4", 1.0µm, telephoto lens which is the weakest point in its camera system. 8MP means that both 12MP photos & 4k videos at are upscaled in daytime.
At night 3X zoomed videos are simply a crop from the main sensor.

What do you think of the output quality of 3x videos from this phone (day and night)? Does it capture enough details for you liking? Is the dynamic range good enough etc?

This device was heavy, pretty bad battery life and slow charge. My OnePlus 8T still feels alot better overall. No need for upgrade I guess.
