BMHater12, 01 May 2024Woah, didn't know Schott was outright part of ZeissYeah. Anyone who says no protection on display should do research first. Schott is not shady brand. Its just they fall under gorilla glass popularity. From the drop test, vivo and iqoo phones display seems to withstand the drop very well, even iqoo 12 withstand drop test from gupta information center the most, compared to other famous flagships.

    Hey, I've recently noticed an issue with the stock gallery app on FuntouchOS and OriginOS where the colors displayed are very washed out when compared to when images are seen on 3rd party galleries or editing software.

    I have posted images on r/vivo and r/VivoX100Pro, and have sent a ticket to the OriginOS side of support to signal the issue.

    It's hard to get the word out and so far I've seen 6 out of 7 users affected by it, which is hard to extrapolate to a larger pourcentage but it seems to be a widespread issue that went unseen!

          This is my review when someone decides want to know buy or not . I like it not bad at all .
          funtouch is easy to use no more blotware gameapp hotapp you can delete it. Battery is so long to use cpu fast and speed but only onething is not good is about glass and ip level if you not worry about that just buy it in sale time.

              This is great hardware wasted. Critical camera app omissions:
              1. 4K 60 front camera video.
              2. Ability to switch between 4 lenses during video recording. (Right now 3 back lenses can be switched to during 4K30 video recording).

              I really do not understand the thought process ! Also access to Camera2 API is restricted so 3rd party camera apps cannot be used properly too.

              Finally....no Gorilla glass? Ew !

                this phone's camera looks better than oneplus 12's

                oh it also has a flat display, not-so-heavy 208g body and 3+4 years of software support.

                looks like I've found a favourite.

                  Front/ selfie camera sp c are not up to the mark
                  No screen guard like Gorilla Glass used to protect.
                  IP64 is not enough

                                Front/ selfie camera sp c are not up to the mark. It should atleast had a 32mp camera instead of 16 and 1080p video recording at 60fps which is much better than 30fps. Not sure why many companies are not focusing on improving the front camera specs as equally as rear camera setup.

                                  It gives far more real world accurate results than saying a phones doing 5+ days on 1 charge lol. It wont be 100% no but again its not how it used to be with offline video playback, like an hour of phone call and web browsing etc, this uses i believe actual online video playback, actual gaming endurance etc.

                                  The differences will be the games you play, you might have the screen set to QHD instead of auto adjustment, you might leave gps and BT on all day and have brightness set to highest constantly instead of auto etc, im guessing the GSM team leave everything as default then just run tests/games etc.

                                  I actually applaud the team for this new battery test and its been needed for a long time (its basically telling you what you get on the tin, some variables will always happen).

                                  Hopefully they eventually atleast do all flagships from last couple years with the new test but would be a big task.

                                    For that money i could get something like a refurbished/mint condition s21 or find x5 so its really not good value. Its just the "safe" choice and if you want new, like an iphone or flagship galaxy/pixel phone, they are the safe choices that dont really do anything wrong, good software support and gunna get decent quality pics/vids that work really well with social media. They're the most advertised too so better brand recognition (how most people actually buy).
