Why gsmarena wont test camera for moving object? I often use a camera indoor in low light conditions at family gatherings or meetings with friends . I want to take good photos of moving childrens or pets. In night mode you have to wait a couple of seconds to take a good shot.

I bought S23 plus and have to returned it. I appreciated the design, battery capacity, better antena but camera disappointed me. I took better, more sharper, clearer pictures in difficult conditions by S8+ or S10 note. I appreciated variable apperture in S10 note. Pictures taken by S23+ were most of the time blured. Not to mention "banana" blurred close scans or over processed 50MP photos.

I have my S23 for about 6 months now, works just like the day i got it. No bugs, smooth, battery life 5-6+ hours SOT. I'm very happy with S23!

Current owner of S23 since March 2023. Battery life is slowly decreasing but still almost last whole day. Just minor caveat is I noticed my camera's stabilization is not so good anymore.

Anonymous, 06 Jan 2024GoodLock allows you to add widgets to the lockscreen and AO... moreNever understood why Samsung just can't bake these features into the phones software instead of having to use separate apps to customise the phone. Also same with Expert RAW why isn't it already baked into the main camera?? Dumb

Vibration is very good? Vibration is very weak! That's the biggest con of the phone

Lots of times I press it 5 times then I have to unlock using my pin.. It is the only reason I would consider selling it and getting a Xiaomi 14 or 13... My previous phone was S20 FE with the optical scanner and it was much more reliable..albeit a bit slower

I bought the S23 in Feb 2023. The battery decayed so much in 11 months. I am consistently unable to hit 4h SOT with very light usage, no 5G, no games, no social media apps, no youtube. The SOT numbers mentioned in this review is absolutely impossible to achieve.

Blowntoaster, 07 Jan 2024A lot of whining you do I see. If you don't like it... moreAh I wasn't aware you had been elected the arbiter of what are or aren't relevant things! I'm sorry, your majesty!

Let's all bow down to your opinion instead, call legitimate criticisms "whining" and "complaining" and preferably punish dissenting opinions! We must protect Samsung's dumb anti-consumer decisions at all costs!

I bought it on black friday for a discounted price and I'm happy with it - exactly for the reasons mentioned in the review. It has everything I need from a phone (and the size is perfect for me). I have only one small issue - the fingerprint sensor. I wouldn't say it's super fast nor very precise. Previously I had xiaomi with a side mounted fingerprint scanner and unlocking was instant. I understand that this ultrasonic sensor is a complete different technology but you have to put the finger on the display in a specific way (touch and then slightly push and wait to unlock) and I'm still getting used to it.
And also the NFC icon is not visible in status bar unless you swipe down, which doesn't make sense to me (xiaomi had also this "feature"). Otherwise it is a great phone which I can only recommend.

Huh, a smooth Samsung? This is something I thought would never happen. It took them over decade to achieve that, though.

Anonymous, 08 Jan 2024As always complaining about "slow" Samsung phone ... morethe note 7 exploded because of the battery placement where it bent one of the pins causing a contact with an another one, not with the charging afaik

As always complaining about "slow" Samsung phone charging - don't forget they got their fingers burnt with the exploding Note.

Samsung doesn't forget and they don't want to go there again. Ever.

Ouifuf, 06 Jan 2024Fwiw, the issues with Sonys 5 series of panels wasn't ... moreCan you elaborate more about what was wrong in the Sony Xperia 5 series that causes the green line?

I'm using the Xperia 5ii and I just replace the screen about 6 months ago due to the green line screen. If the green line appears one more time, I probably will throw it away.

So, I'm curious about what was the real reason for the faulty screen.

                                      Thanks in advanced!

This phone will sell like crazy if all capabilities both hardware and software from the ultra is cramped in this edition except of course the design, display size and spen. I dont care if the price or weight increases. Samsung line up specifications differences should be like this Standard: Smaller version, Plus: Big version, Ultra: Slighly bigger version with spen, all specifications is the same accross except with sizes and spen.
