I think it's misconceived to say 'Dolby Vision OLED'. AFAIK there is no Dolby Vision hardware specification for consumer grade devices, but instead it refers to the device's capability of interpreting dynamic HDR content in Dolby Vision format. And thus this matters only when playing Dolby Vision content. The cameras on the device themselves are not Dolby Vision - they record in SDR (8-bit).

Would anyone buy a decent camera and chuck it away after a couple of years? That's how I feel about phone cameras, as long as it's decent that's good enough for me. I buy a smartphone for all its other features, not to take happy snaps just to post on social media which is what the majority of people do. A good screen, battery and processor are my priorities, the camera is just a convenience and the vast majority of camera phones are 'good enough' for that purpose.

It's 2024 already, and I can't take anymore excuses from bad cameras.

Anders, 11 Jan 2024https://www.techadvisor.com/article/2197687/poco-x6-5g-revi... moreSD 7s Gen 2 is like a re-release than a entirely new thing. 7+ Gen 2 looking sexy btw

Why are people crying about the battery life? It's not THAT bad I mean the only thing that's bad is the video playback score. The gaming score is close enough with the A54, like 40 mins and it's not bad, close to the Oneplus 11 as well. The talk time and web browsing are better than the A54. As GSM said it's "average", it gets the job done.
The worst part for me is the ads in this phone, 90% of people who buy this won't know how to turn them off and they'll get blasted by them left and right. Otherwise it's a fine phone, 7/10, but based on GSM's inflated ratings, ta least a 4/5.

chocowii, 11 Jan 2024Finally, my A52s can now rest. No, because 7s gen 2 isn't as good as 778g. Performance wise, this processor sits between 6 gen 1 and 7 gen 1, but with efficiency worse than 778g.
Also camera is worse than A52s and there's no waterproofing

Half of the reviews say that the back is made of glass. Can you check for sure?

The display part of review seems a bit rushed, moreover this phone doesn't supports HDR or HDR10+ anywhere, youtube, netflix, amazon. Its a total disappointment of a processor from qualcomm.

Anonymous, 11 Jan 2024Because megapixels are just numbers, even on Samsung which ... moreStill, megapixels are important for digital zoom. Which matters even on phones with telephoto cameras since they don't work at night.

why no 3dmark stress test results? X6 Pro also does not have it from youtube reviews

Pumpino, 11 Jan 2024Why are so many phones with 5,000mAh batteries getting less... moreThe modem combined with RF power output consumes more power than the CPU if averaged over time. If you are very far from the network tower, RF power output would also have to be increased.

Also, modems are not manufactured on the latest process node.

Why are so many phones with 5,000mAh batteries getting less than 10 hours of web browsing? I've seen it with 4nm chips from both Qualcomm and MediaTek.
