While 8g1 has a bunch and some companies limit the clocks too much.

So in single thread the sd7 is right inbetween but in multithread it's closer to the sd8+g1. That's funny to me. Qualcomm must have had a different idea for those sd7 chips. Maybe the initial idea was to launch sd "8s" but they went with sd7 instead.

1989 nothinghappened, 01 Feb 2024Yes, those phone software differences afffect those scores.The sd7+g2 lands between the sd8g1 and sd8+g1 in cpu performance. And it's much closer to the sd8+g1 than the other.
People say it's a downclocked version of the sd8g1 but since it's made by tsmc instead of samsung, it still performs better.

Carriers say: Xiaomi is cheap, has fast hardware and very good camera's. This one nails that formula.

Ahsan, 02 Feb 2024Wt is the final considerationI ordered the Note 13 Pro and the seller increased the price not long afterwards, so I think it was an error. However, it's already been dispatched, so they're honouring the amount I paid. Very lucky. It's a bummer it's apparently not receiving HyperOS until quarter two though.

Pumpino, 01 Feb 2024Apparently, the 12 Lite will be supported until March 2026 ... moreMi Global Store just listed the 13 Note Pro 5G at a much cheaper price than other sellers. I'm tempted to get that instead, due to its much larger battery and longer support life. It's a tough call.

I found the 12 Lite at a very cheap price on AliExpress, while the 13 Pro's price is currently ridiculous, so I might go ahead and order the 12 Lite, especially now that HyperOS is available for it. I think I'll unlock the bootloader and flash xiaomi.eu before upgrading. xiaomi.eu has the HyperOS build now.

The Redmi Note 13 pro may be "supported" for longer but Xiaomi's current update strategy could still be better. It remains ambigious because it does not state how fast will they update their devices to the latest Hyper OS version + how often the security updates will be.
I have not received my Xiaomi 12 Lite yet but according to the seller the latest Hyper OS update is now available. And from the initial read Hyper OS is a bit lighter in load but again is the bloateware less? Are the ads less? Can we uninstall all 1st-party apps? I would like to know.

domoon, 31 Jan 2024stop comparing every releases with X3 pro. it's a flas... moreYeah, same reason as the Poco F1. It is just the same slow decline or slow increase of prices like the OnePlus 1. I have the Samsung S8+ prior the X3 Pro. the X3P is amazing for the price, from there I thought I'd just upgrade more often than buying a flagship phone. Still no real upgrade from X3P except a massive budget like going to a Poco F series.
