The a25 samsung will be the last a2x series. No more a26 in future. The a series will be a06 , a16, a16 5g are the entry level while a36 and a56 are midrange smartphones. Dk if d6300 will use on a06 5g then exynos 1380 will use on a16 5g . A56 surely use exynos 1580

There is also a wide angle 8MP camera and a 2MP macro camera.

I got the A25 for 3 months now and i find it weird everywhere it says it has an 8mp second camera but mine has a 12mp instead somehow. Not sure why this is so here i am sking this. Is this normal or mine is a defect from samsung?

I can not read anywhere if usb is 2.0 or better. Samsung.com will not disclose. A25 has one speaker hole which makes stereo sound not possible.

I never experienced this on my... moreThats Great to know! so im looking for an affordable phone but hopefully a bit better than my old Galazy A30s, realy mainly focused on larger RAM, better internal storage, and longer battery life etc, very basics realy (my Galazy A30s is almost 5 yrs old, Ive had it for 4.5 yrs now and slowly struggling to charge, or battery life seems less, had 3 time sin the passed 2months saying overheating device switching off,.. so those are signs for me to get a new phone ) looking into the A25 as im on a budget untill I get back to work. I do most of my emails and documents on mobile phone so maybe the A25 might be good enough, atleats for the next 3 yrs or so.. Thanks

Apart from some glitches I haven't had the problems some other people have reported. Calls are fine, I've never had a problem with calls on any Samsung phone I've used in Europe, I think most of the people complaing about calls are in North America, there may be incompatability problems between their networks and the phone. I've had no freezing or lagging, except for a bit using my mobile network, but it's renowned for slow internet. Wifi has been fine, I've watched videos and done streaming with no problems. I don't use the phone for gaming so I can't comment on that. I had problems connecting to a Teams meeting recently, but I don't know if that was the fault of the app or the phone. I use the internet quite a bit and the battery may just about last a full day, because of that, sometimes not. The camera takes good pictures and videos oudoors, not so good indoors, but not terrible. Thermal Guardian shows the phone sometimes goes over the threshold, but not by much, if I did gaming it would probably be higher, I use a case, so I don't feel when the phone gets hot.

Battery lasts. For Outlook, Teams, Office 365 and no gaming - I'd guess this one is meant to be the bottom tier for the business. (Keeping the headphones jack is a good selling point for the business)
I've tried no games on this one.
Screen is great, size and ratio are OK, colors are superb, text is quite sharp. Good for reading e-mails.
Fits well in the hand, thin enough (with the 2$ case and screen protector) to feel comfy in my jeans pocket.
Camera(s) ... I really don't care (given the use case). There's a front one, which shows me OK on meetings, and some three ones on the back, that I really don't know what they do. (Could do it fine with only one of better quality)
Pictures are fine, low light ones are crap.
Bit this phone drops calls like no other. On a highway, I'm getting very poor audio (sometimes I can't hear half of what the other side says), calls drop all the time, and ... occasionally I get calls dropping in the center of the city. I've ended up disabling the 5G hoping for an improvement. (It still drops calls).
I've been driving on this road with different devices and I know that coverage is fine for ANY other device I've used.
All Exynos bottom to midrange chipsets overheat under moderate to heavy load - this one makes no difference.
I'd honestly say - if you want a budget Samsung go for A15 5G, cause of the MediaTek chipset and give it a try. I don't know if any patch will bring improvement in future for the A25, but at the moment of this post - it fails miserably in the most important thing - being a phone.

I did get a security update dated 1 April 2024, the day after you posted this which is better. I'm now waiting for the One UI 6.1 update.
I don't have the complaints some other people on here have about this phone, apart from some glitches when changing a web page or opening an app I've not really had any problems with it, no freezing and the battery life isn't a concern for me
