im shocked out 226 million last year shipment .
90% was from galaxy A / M and not S series .
What !! wait ... S23 series overall only manage sold at 28 million out from 226 .
Thats is totally nothing to brag about .
How samsung can convinced people to buy their expensive low
end while meantime their flagship suffer from low sales

2 Mpix useless camera shouldn't exist even on budget devices....It is eco waste, garbage which no one will use.

Here in Bangkok the magnificent Realme 11 Pro 8/256 is about the same price as this ugly low specs A25...I wonder how Samsung can convince people to buy it

The A25 starts at a cheaper price, ends software updates 3 android versions later against the Poco x6 since that starts at Android 13, and has a better selfie camera. It's good for video calls and passing down your phone to your relatives a few more years before banking apps stop working on its final version of android. If you can afford to change your phone every 2-3 years, good for you, but many don't sell them until they die. So 3.7 for the A25 vs 3.8 for the Poco x6 isn't too bad.

It's not a bad set of improvements, but I personally wouldn't give it higher than 3.5★

damn, that cam so bad for its price. how come samsung not upgrade it? compring with X6 or even X5 is better than that. not to mention that poco isnt special in camera segmen.

I'm convinced they just have fixed 3.7 rating for midrangers of this class and a strict 4.0 speed limit reserved for flagships or uooer midrangers only
I tell you then need 3 different classes of star ratings
When they review flagship soc they compare similar antutu scores why can't they adapt that same philosophy with the rating system
Some entry level and lower midrangers deserve 4.7 ratings too

Vivo's fastest on security patches, even their entry level phones like Y21 and Y73 are on more recent patches first
Oppo and Samsung while promise quarterly updates over deliver, 3 month is the maximum one will be behind not definitely. Any bug fix update they include the security patch as well so sometimes you get a security patch every month for 2-3 consecutive months.
Meanwhile Xiaomi, their support was worst, 4 month update cycle is common and even then the security update may not be of most recent month. I'm in official feedback groups of my Xiaomi devices and their the moderators do false statements like they are adding some bug fix or the next android / miui version is being finalized so security updates are on hold.

Well, uhhh.. the phone is even a bit worse than it was anticipated. Really, why not getting, say, Realme instead. Only because of amoled? Design? For that price you would be getting even better characteristics from realme 11+ indeed.

Most people dont like display with waterdrop notch bcos it looks so outdated and screams cheap. Ask the average phone buyers and see if they care whether their phone starts with Android 13 or 14. Chances are they care more about designs with slim bezels, and this is the part Samsung entry level and lower midrange phones still lacking.

Offff, That battery life is getting worse with every new budget exynos phone. And the performance to be compared to dimensty 6080 (2.4ghz 2xA76 cores) and SD gen 1 (2.0ghz 2xA78 cores) goes to show how low the standard is the dimensity 900 which came out in 2021 is faster with almost the same specs while being fabbed on 6nm.
My main point samsung 5nm node is equivalent or slower than tsmc 6nm and 7nm node.
