Mills, 27 Jan 2024"No DeX or AOD." It's a ENTRY-LEVEL scree... moreIt has an OLED, therefore having no AOD as a con is totally valid. That has been a thing for ages now and the lack of an AOD is definitely disappointing.

      The HUGE colour/luminance blotches in the sky in night photos are BIG NOISE as well. It's very disappointing to read that the photos have "low noise". I sincerely trusted you to do way better than that. Really :(

I don't need an IR blaster on my phone or electronics when I can buy the remote on eBay or Mercari.

          And yea, if it's above 125 USD, I think it deserves an actual IP rating. Motorola is screwing us with this "Water repellent design" BS. The golden standard in IP68 or IP67. Some may have IPX4 or IP53 but IP67 is the sweet spot. It survives submersion, heavy dust and whatnot.

            Well I mean we know it's 99% the same a24 4g from last year and you mention it in your review
            Why you don't compare it with a24 4g in the alternatives? That phone has aod and pis and their price is pretty much similar

              In some markets, the difference between this and the 5G version is only like $20. I wonder why Samsung even bother releasing this 4G version.

                I am impressed by the gaming battery life tho

                      Anonymous, 27 Jan 2024If you care about software updates don't get an entry-... moreSame for the entry-levels. Poco M6 Pro also gets 3 OS updates and 4 years of security updates starting on android 13, and since Samsung A15 has 2 os updates from android 14, they're the same.

                        Looks decent enough, but I think every phone should have some basic water resistance in this day and age.

                          2.stereo spekaer
                          3.ultrawide camera

                            It's a ENTRY-LEVEL screen. I mean, does a phone need LTPO to perform AoD?

                              19,5:9 or even 19:9 are far way better, easier to use. These are comfortably broad, i just like these proportions so much.

                                And a 19.5:9 aspect ratio looks way better imo

Never mind the fact that Rigid AMOLED is not that expensive to produce anymore, and that it was already used on an ultra-budget phone 7 years ago when Rigid AMOLED was much more expensive than it is now.

                                        What is Samsung’s obsession with this annoying 19.5:9 ratio? Why can’t they offer a proper 20:9 aspect ratio? 😒
