    back design is extremely bad otherwise good in specs

      I don't get the design. It is objectively bad. Real bad. Why place that fat square under the camera? The phone will never lay flat on the table without a decently chunky case. They could have played it to the right of the camera, which would fix that issue, aswell as making the phone slightly tilted towards the bottom which is good. Could have even put in a small shiny "mirror" into that big square since some of the area is unused, so the rear camera could be used for selfies. Hell, they probably could've replaced the flash entirely with the ring to make that mirror even bigger.. For a more expensive version of this phone, the square could be filled with a tiny screen, for a tiny AOD that eats less battery aswell as a proper viewfinder for selfies. Could even use that screen as the flash too, since a small screen can easily reach high brightness levels, which could be even more useful with a setting in the camera to adjust the flash's white balance. So many cool ideas, but instead it's just impractical and kinda ugly/ the same as all the other phones. Such a shame.

          Also, anyway, GSMArena, when will you add "flat display" parameter to Phone Finder? We should be able to filter out these curved-screen atrocities!

At any rate the features you're looking for seem pretty standard

                  It's really sad that every phone maker pursuing camera only and neglect other feature. Unless you are avid photograper or pixel peeper, amost all mid - flagship phone nowaday camera results are virtually indistinguisable l. My rog phone 7 died and send to warranty. I will sell it when they finish repair my device, but still struggling to decide which phone that have acceptable camera only, but really push forward on any other area, such as speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack, big battery capacity and great display. I really love my rog phone 7 so much, but the quality keep me away from using it again.

                            What a disgusting design, placing all the cameras in one square, and only the flash in the second.. Need a third square for the inscription that is close to the flash.

                              Software section has become extremely boring with such referrals 😡

                                Ive got to admit, i love the new battery endurance tests now (the part in the review for the phone was so straight forward), simplifies and seperates all the right data so well and gives you a great understanding of how the device performs in each catagory in a far more real world environment, makes it so much easier to find a device for your specific needs.

                                I would like a little bit more detail in parts, specifically say more in depth info about the screen (if possible) and certain tweaks like that but even though this review was a bit shorter it was pretty straight forward and to the point review, good job GSM. 💪

                                  AnonD-641645, 09 Mar 2024I have 2 of the previous vivo V-series and I'm getting... moreIdk why you say deplorable, depends on what phone you got but the V29 doesn't sound bad at least to me. I used an M32 before and I didn't have huge issues with a single speaker and its quality and the V29 is better than that and I think you'll have a good time with it.

                                  If you want great speakers get Xiaomi phones. On god bruh I might dunk on their global pricing and mediocre software all day long but one thing is irrefutable and that is how good their speakers are. Their midrangers sound as good as some flagships and their flagships are some of the best sounding phones to me.

My problem is not so much lack of stereo speakers but the lone speaker is of deplorable quality, so I accept that these would function as cameras only. Incidentally I find that the Redmi Note 5 is unsurpassed in terms of audio recording quality.
