Battery Life on dxomark is best among all phones so on GSM arena is disadvantage.. weird

    Is there any chance that GSMArena can do a follow-up review of this phone? There have a been a LOT of refinements and performance enhancements with the regular updates that OPPO has pushed out this past year. Seems almost like a new phone and with the Android 15 ColorOS coming out in a few weeks we can really use a comparison with the Find X8 about to release as well.

            Have the phone since March
            So many details must be ok for a phone, but so difficult to get all of them as most features are a compromise, as large battery and slim easy to git in hand design.
            My first worry was to get a phone large as the galaxy s24 ultra
            Well it is more a normal phone with no flagship camera.
            So do not worry about.
            Cameras are great, further improving with every update.
            The sound is great, i like to listen music while meditating or watch youtube videos. Rarely raising volume to max.
            Sound recorder is very good, while simple interface as the one of oneplus.
            Voice audio while in call amazing, both listen and speech
            While all samsungs, starting s22 ultra are increasing temp of phone while using the cameras, here the phone is cool. Never becomes hot. While gaming, charging 100w or video or whatever.
            I stress it a lot this summer
            Kept on the dash of my car under the sun, navigation and charging
            Never had trouble of overheating so far. The case is thick covering the cams, not really helping the phone cooling system..
            Very quick to respond.
            Display is crazy amazing
            Yes I hate curved, but this is the way to feel it smaller in hand. If there was flat display I would but that one.
            Still using the original screen protector. The phone has fallen 3 times
            Have hear nasty kick while hitting the floor..so far I am lucky.
            Bluetooth connecting smooth.
            Wifi is fast and quick connecting
            Another big worry of mine was the network coverage.
            Almost all bands are present, you can check, but antennas are so good that it connects better than my oneplus 8t Global version.
            I am comparing on daily basis. We are on a trip accross Europe, my wife iphone 14pro is almost always with no connection, while I have 5g almost everywhere.
            What I found as a bug, was the Data Saver feature was not working at all. Found a workaround to disable all apps network access (many phones does not have this feature at all) to save data while in expensive roaming.
            Hope oppo fixes this. Much easier to configure the few apps I need to use internet instead all network hungry apps start sucking megabytes for whatever trivial reason..
            Downside of the chinese version I use
            There is a lot of AI features as simultaneous translation during a phone call, but it is to Chinese only. The global version once version 8 will come in Europe will be much more meaningful.
            The picture AI object removal, works better than the one of Pixel and Galaxy.
            Device is awesome. I paid approx 1200 Eur delivery and import taxes included. This is the best device existing so far to me.
            And I am really looking inside the details, and not easy to be satisfied. Recommend it all the ways.
            P.s. I did not consider huawei, during my 6 months research before my purchase.I needed Android device. So if you are not tide to Android, might consider Huawei too as I tead some reviews where cameras are also good.

                X100Pro will completely destroy this phone for sure. And the X100 Ultra is coming soon, which can double kill this phone again lol

If you're on the fence about importing the x7 or x7 ultra and leaning more towards the regular x7, I'd highly recommend importing the Oneplus 12 instead, on TradingShenzen/Wonda mobile they are the same price, same cameras (larger ultrawide sensor actually) and with a better snapdragon processor (and flashed to european oxygen OS). However, I went all in on the x7 ultra and I have no regrets, if your really big into mobile photography there is no better phone out atm in my opinion, I know a lot of people think the Vivo x100 pro is better but for me the Oppo find x7 ultra has better hardware and way more realistic colours, especially at night. I used Wonda mobile, paid via bank transfer and used the express post option and it was delivered to my door in the UK in 4 days for less than 800 pounds! (16+512 version)

                        Wow this device is getting some great feedback.

                        I currently own the Find X5 Pro and I've been really happy with the whole experience. Really tempted to upgrade to Find X7 Ultra or maybe the normal Find X7, not quite sure yet. The differences seem to be minor.

It's awesome had heaps of camera updates too and it just keeps getting better. Notifications don't show on the always on display, but I don't use that I have a garmin watch for time

                                I wish they would look at this phone again, most recent update introduced raw max shooting across all rear lenses and Dolby vision across all rear lenses at 4k60fps.. Stabilization has been massively improved and zoom photos have really improved as well. Also phone stability and performance has improved a lot, I think most manufactures are getting a handle on the 8gen3 now. I get like 85% stability in wildlife extreme stress test now. Overall its a fantastic phone and I am really loving it
