Obviously it's a ROG Phone 8 refresh, but with the sober ZenFone finish. Components are probably those that narrowly failed the binning and didn't cut it for turning them into a ROG Phone, but... It's a win-win for ASUS and their customers : ASUS gets to sell these "underperforming" components in a device that does not pretend to need 100% what they can output instead of throwing them away at a loss, and their customers get a full-size business/pro (non-gaming) flagship that's a half-step over the previous generation at a still reasonable price. Can't wait for the ROG Phone 9 though ! 😬

Value For Money:there are probably better options out there if you're looking for value, but this is a good compact phone if you're looking for one. even the s21 (6.1" screen) feels too big when compared to this phone.colour is nice, size is nice. for someone with big hands this phone is easy to use even when single handed.

Picture quality is so low it should be giveaway. Since zenfone 7 pro pictures become uglier with each generation. Can anyone explain this?

I bought the Zephone 11 Ultra on April 3 and it has been just long enough that I can't trade the phone or send it back. It has been a nightmare in the last few days since the speaker just continuously makes a popping sound making it impossible to understand someone who calls me. I tried to send it back but was told that I missed the trade date by 2 days and now have to send it in for repair. At first they were not even going to give me free shipping to send it back but after about an hour they decided to give me a shipping label. Another thing that really irks me is that when I bought the phone it was $899 with a "free" set of wireless earbuds. I thought that was great so I added that to my order but that actually made purchase price over $1000. I also bought a charger but that wasn't that much. I feel like this is really crooked and now that the phone does not work it just makes me even more angry. I should also mention that after about an hour of gaming the screen has white spots where is looks like the video card might be failing also. At this point I just want to get a different phone or at least a new replacement phone but they are not going to budge on the 2 days past my 30 days from purchase.
I also saw a video from Gamers Nexus about a similar encounter with ASUS customer service to point that they actually called the company crooked. I am starting to think I didn't really research enough before my purchase. The whole experience is disappointing to say the least. The specs on the phone are great if it actually worked but just 32 days after purchase it has already started to fail and customer service is not great. I have bought ASUS motherboards in the past and even the External enclosure for an M.2 flash memory which worked fine but I will probably consider another company for any future purchases. So sad.

Am I the only one who thinks that the positions of the bottom ports are unique? Seeing the charging port being set to the right side is pretty interesting

In the entire history of ASUS phones, their Zenfone 2, Zenfone 3 series, and Zenfone 6/7Pro are the greatest.
I still remember the Zenfone 2 and the amount of positive attention it got.

But of course, then the "Ultra" loses its meaning.

Why are so many people complaining about this phone? The specs are great, the display looks amazing (you don't need 500 or something ppi), it has a great battery, 3.5 jack, fingerprint scanner and a decente telepohoto camera. All in a compact device.

unxpctd, 23 Mar 2024I don't understand how this phone can get a 4.4. This ... morenah i would rather call it biased
design-spec-pricing ratio of this phone is designed in such a way that that this phone gonna be swept off by competition soon
4.4 are stright-up lie, but for them to recommend s23u over this phone are true, just make sure your s23u allow bootloader unluck if you ever have bloatware issue
