I just want to share my opinion with regard to cameras arrangement. Rather than arrange them like that, it would be better to set them in circle to follow the island style and putting both flashes at the center. To make them perfect you can add lines forming a circle to connect among cameras.

Unless you really need* the telemacro features of the new lenses its pretty much the same. I used to have the 13 Pro, currently running the 14 Pro and 14U all CN versions. The 989 on the 13 has virtually no difference in terms of detail, noise than the LYT and Light Hunter on the 14 series. I don't really see that much of an improvement in dynamic range either. Back to your question, why do you need the extra storage? I dont think one upgrades solely for storage and the slight performance improvements of the 14U

Dear all,
I am currently using Xiaomi 13 Ultra 1 TB. I want to switch my mobile to Xiaomi 14 Ultra because of new LYT900 Sensor.
But there is no 1 TB option for 14 Ultra in my supplier.
I want to know your oppinions about differences IMX989 Sensor and LYT900. Will there be any big differences between this 2 sensors?
If i change my mobile i have to pay 100 or 150 US dolar more.
Which one would you choose?
IMX989 sensor - 1 TB
LYT900 Sensor - 512 GB

The noise you hear while shaking the phone is from the housing of the telephoto lens. Every phone with telephoto camera has this sound. Nothing to worry about.

Hey guys, I just bought the phone and I have a question. When you shake the phone it makes a specific "plasticy" sound? Is that with other users as well or just my phone?

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra continues to drop in price, it's now at 1000€ and slightly bellow (Romania), while the photo kit is 160€. With the announcement of 15Ultra it will drop even more, because people will wait for the new model if there is no serious incentive to buy the actual model. Vivo X100 pro and Oppo Find X7 ultra are China exclusive, only attainable through grey import, so not available. I am still curious why 14Ultra is way too low on DXOmark ranking, just bellow Vivo.

1) Screen and Display. - Screen is brighter and curves at top and bottom, much more comfortable to hold
2) Battery - Battery lasts okay and charging is fast so it's a non issue
3) Camera - Camera is better, and consumes less batter than before,
My only gripes: it's expensive, otherwise very good device

Anonymous, 12 Apr 2024Not many phone users that use the phone camera is aware of ... moreOne major problem that can't be fixed post, for most photos, THERE IS NOT ENOUGH DEPTH OF FIELD and you can't fix that by stopping down to f/4 (smallest aperture) And every photo needs at least basic editing but I LOVE doing that, on my phone mostly. This phone is therefore, NOT for everyone. I'm a pro - photographer. I do love that it rarely over-sharpens though. Then there's the powerful, drop resistant 'Xiaomi Shield Glass' that scratches really easily. My phone will look used in a couple of months and I really am very careful with the glass. I've spent all my professional life, looking after fragile glass (lenses) with delicate coatings. So this a shocker on a premium flagship. Now the Pros: Image quality is excellent even if only a small part is in focus! The build quality is excellent, it looks and feels premium. The Display is the best I've ever had! It's really bright and has fabulous calibration options in addition to the simple ones. I am in love with this phone but the focus area problem is really getting to me! The software / processing, could be way better too. Some of those will I'm sure, be sorted out but depth of field is a hardware design flaw, it cannot be rectified. You just have to shoot wider and then crop, sacrificing precious pixels!

mE, 10 Apr 2024SNAP I did the same returned my 14 ultra and got the vivo x... moreHopefully, only some batches had it. A guy did lots of photos in Alps and no issue. I did exactly the opposite as I returned the Vivo and bought 14U. I hesitated and waited first, but it was for 999€ in white color, so it was a great deal. Vivo is great, but without the variable aperture it sucks a big time.
