Question - is this configuration available in the A55: eSIM AND nanoSIM AND microSD card slot, all for use at the same time? (eSIM - home carrier, nanoSIM - roaming carrier, microSD card from my previous phone).

Nice review! One thing, the camera of the A54 is the 50mp Sony IMX766 sensor, so that's a different camera or you people made a tiny mistake in this review. The review mentioned that the two have the same camera and the A55 main sensor is 50 MP Sony IMX906?
I believe that's different...

The display of A55 is not as good as A30
I bought A55 to upgrade from A30 but the screen quality is highly disappointing. A30 has great contrast soothing white levels. But A55 has very much whiteness no natural colors as compared to A30. Are there any other phones which has better AMOLED display with natural colours 🤔
I won't be buying another Samsung now.

I didn't really buy this phone for the specs I needed something that worked.

Google can go love themselves... I'm sick and tired of 7a issues: poor battery, overheating, missing calls... The A55 sucks too: no wake screen for notifications, subpar cameras... BUT, at least, it works as a PHONE! My dad's A54 has been woking flawless since he bought it... I've said it before: Google QC is "unmatched", especially that they're made you know where...

HOWEVER!!! I was using Google's "Phone" app.
Was expecting a bit more from camera, though. After all, main sensor is the same found in Honor 200: IMX906, at 1/1.56". I'm presuming Samsung is using different image algorythms for different phones. S24 has same characteristics, but images turn out sharper. But, in all fairness, can't really blame them. Midrange phone, midrange camera experience, almost premium UI experience. Yep. UI is super smooth and feature-rich.

BIOX, 23 Jul 2024Anyone having troubles with the proximity sensor? Mine is p... moreBro it does not have a proximity sensor. Instead, it uses software called virtual proximity sensor to perform this task. This type of sensing works when u lift ur mobile in a specific angle towards ur ear. So the problem is inherent. U may however control this by making a habit of lifting mobile in a right direction

you could write in the pros/cons section (as you did with the Galaxy S10 back then) that the fingerprint performance issue has been fixed via software update, just to be correct

A55 is not a bad phone by any means. But the phones in this price range have become so competitive, that you need to be in the market for a Samsung phone, to buy this over some very nice alternatives.
One Ui is nice, but in mid-range Samsung phones, sometimes it becomes laggy. For flagship Samsung phones, One Ui is nice and smooth, but in mid-range and low-end is not so good experience.
