I bought it as a second device (well yes you can say it is an overkill) but as an owner of an 11pro I wanted something to use as a 5g modem, a slightly bigger screen if I want to watch something with more convenience and a music player to leave it for hours on my desk... I know I could buy an a15 or 25 or 35 but the aluminum frame won me because when on move it is thrown on my backpack suffering various mechanical stresses... as for the fingerprint sensor my last experience was the a50 which was a real pain especially if screen protector was applied so yes a55 sensor works like a cham for me. In conclusion I believe it is a good mid range and if priced around 400€ instead of 550 (8gb/256gb version) would be I great vfm...

I'm Using it since last 20days. Now I regret my decision. Samsung A55 is not worth the price. Battery charging is very slow (even after using samsung fast charging adapter)
Worst finger print sensor. It works only about 5times out of 100 attempts. Everytime you need enter pass code to unlock

Andrsam, 09 Apr 2024Which phone is better - Samsung Galaxy A55 or Xiaomi 13T?Forget about the 13T. I used.to own it and the camera is trash. Colors are way off, Xiaomi's problem for the longest time. The Leica branding is purely a gimmick. The worst camera on numerous phone's I have owned. The camera is real bad trust me.

There is no folders in app drawer uncomfortable tabs instead, no Bixby scenarios(f.e. turn off communications if I fall asleep - MacroDroid can't do this), no switching between frontal and general camera, camera application doesn't show last photo taken.

Why isn't the 13T as good as the A55? What's worse with it? You list things where the 13T is better but then say it's not as good as the A55. Because?

And there's a reason ppl buy from Samsung and apple blindly. They don't care about phones that much, they just want something that works from a brand they trust.

Does the A55 support audio out via USB C?
If yes, does it give an analog output where we can connect any 3.5 mm headphone using an adapter or is it a digital output that needs specific headphones with inbuilt DACs

It's as if people intentionally ignore the lack of features on Samsung phones (for example, not having a DAC) just because said phones have a fancy logo on the back.
Samsung is Apple 2.0
